The PS3 will continue to get games whether or not the PS4 comes out. Although I doubt we'll see them announce it at Gamescom, I can see it being announced before the end of 2013 and possibly even come out within the same year.
And you know what? Sony would still be bringing out games for PS3 in 2013 like they have planned now.
I'd be more willing to call this an Assassin's Creed game than a PoP game. For all anyone knows, it USED to be a new PoP in development, but they changed it after realizing it wasn't enough like PoP and were lazy on changing the file we're looking at.
It's probably a next-gen AC game.
Well, I think it's easy to say you'll never see any of his characters in this game. Maybe this has to do with that rumour of DmC Dante being in PS All-Stars instead of HIS Dante.
I believe Sony can take some hints from XboxLive, but the reason stated in the title, or the text before the video, is a bad reason since Microsoft shuts down game servers too even though people pay for XboxLive Gold.
Game servers will shut down no matter what. If it's just bleeding money from a company, and barely anyone is playing it, they'll shut them down.

I just hope Sony's developers follow suit if that happens though. It'd be amazing if Sony's first party devs went to work for Valve or something, and just made PC exclusives (if Sony left the console business).

Once they get a proper "game renting" feature for PC gaming, I think we'll start seeing equal treatment for PC gamers. The only reason people pirate games (not agreeing with it) is mostly because they're unsure of if they'll like it or not.
And not all of these games get on Steam or have a Steam sale that's 50-75% off.

What issues are these? I have over 100 games on Steam, and I clicked "agree/next/whatever it was" on that "horrible to deal with" Subscriber Agreement without any issue. I was curious of it, but to be honest, I don't care about the details as long as I can play my games.

I think Sony will save the PS4 announcement for their own event and I get this feeling from them announcing the Vita (NGP at the time) at the previously mentioned event.
All you'll hear at Gamescom is game related news, and maybe some new Vita features (ability to play PS1 games for example) or games.
Probably the same situation for Microsoft.

Why is everyone arguing about what platform has the best looking games when the article is about what it's like developing on each console? Come on guys, if we want this fanboy shit to end, WE need to end it.
I think everyone should just chill out until after the list is announced. Everyone is getting all up in arms about rumours.
I'll be waiting until the list is made, and then I'll decide who I want to play as. I'm sure many other Playstation fans will do the same instead of stumbling around over some text.
And if this list does end up being true, sure there are a couple "WTF" moments, but it's still a decent list. And surely more will ...
My only problem with them using the new Dante over the old one is the fact that the new Dante is born on multiple platforms. So he isn't in the slightest one of Playstation's "All-stars".
The Dante that Sony is known for is the Dante from DMC1-3. So this is clearly Capcom pushing the new Dante into the game for advertising purposes and Super Bot agreeing with it.

The only game I'd add would have to be Littlebigplanet. That's one feeling I got playing that game that I never got playing any other game released.

If this is true, then Valve should start looking at alternatives. How about allowing you to sell games directly from your Steam account to other users, with Valve taking a tiny bit from every used game sold, and the developer taking another small bit. Not to mention it'd make it easier for the gamers since we could do it all on Steam, rather than making two separate transactions.
That or give us the ability to trade games.

How are they choosing who to send these out to? I have a history of fighting games on my trophy list, I've been PS+ since it launched (bought enough to last me until 2013), and I spend more than enough money on the PSN.
You'd think that would be good enough.
Oh well, I'm sure I'll get it eventually.
