Well I played the Beta and thought the gameplay was a "bleh" fest. The ideas are incredibly cool, and it does so many things other games don't, FPS or not. But the gameplay falls flat. And you can't enjoy the rest of the experience if the gameplay in an FPS isn't good.
I'm always hoping they'll do something to improve it, though. Because a game like this is something I want to get behind.

It is multiplatform, just to set the record straight. Would be great to see some exclusive content, but I don’t reckon we’ll know anything for a loooong time on that.
Says right on the Playstation Blog.
Very doubtful. It seems the game industry is going through the same thing the movie and music industry is going through. We'll eventually move past the "hipster" generation and be back with gamers playing games.
And this doesn't mean Indie games are bad or anything, it's just they are getting more attention because there are people hating on popular games, and claiming these smaller games are groundbreaking.
I'll always play Unchar...
More games are always welcome for me. I wasn't completely sold on most of the games I played until I got to fully play them. Now some of my favorite games are games I got for free from plus.
It may suck having a massive backlog, but most gamers WISH they had more games to play. In fact, my cousin, and a few friends who only own Xbox360's are dreading this summer drought. Me? I'm doing incredibly well, and I'd safely say I didn't even have to pay for at lea...
If this game is coming for PS3, 360 AND PC, I'll be getting it for PC.
Which is very odd since I've been playing MGS since the first game, and only on Playstation consoles (not saying I didn't play Metal Gear, but to me Playstation was Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid was Playstation).
But oh well, it's time to get over this whole thing. Can't expect developers to keep giving hand outs to Sony regardless of how well they helped launch...
This could instead be the game that tells how Big Boss came across the idea to clone himself, creating Solid, Liquid and Solidus. Giving birth to the name "ground zero".
To be honest, I don't give a fuck. I just want more Metal Gear after reading what they watched.
Oh, another thing people should know. Randy Pitchford said himself that the DLC they will release will be based on demand. So if all you "Borderlands fans" want to wait for the GOTY editions, you'll be making the amount of DLC we get a lot less.
Hop on it sooner, and support them, then they'll know we want more DLC, and what types of DLC we want.
Or, you know, you can just keep buying Battlefield 3, Blops 2, and such instead. Screw creative...
Well I know I'll be getting this. Borderlands 2 is one of my most anticipated games of this year, and I see no reason to NOT buy this and NOT save money on the DLC.
:EDIT: I don't know why ANYONE is complaining. If you're going to buy this game and you love Borderlands, you'll also be SAVING money on the quality DLC you know Gearbox will pump out.
They could avoid this whole Season Pass thing all together and just make you pay around $15 per...
I'm pretty sure that spot is reserved for Dante. Raiden seems slower than Dante, and Dante's level 3 also looks more effective.
But we'll find out when the game releases. I already know who'll be my main if Cloud isn't in the game.
Although I don't mind some of these characters, I'm starting to feel a bit off about this. If they end up adding in MGS1 Snake, or old Dante later as DLC, I won't mind.
But as of now, I'm not a fan of these publishers getting Superbot to use their new characters in a game meant for Playstation fans.
If Cloud isn't announced before this game is released, and they use someone like Lightning instead (although I love her character) I'll ...
You just mentioned games that were all better (don't know about Steel Battalion) than one you claimed "passed".
I'm also not sure about Prototype 2, but I know Ninja Gaiden 3 was horrible. Lollipop Chainsaw, Starhawk and Twisted Metal were all much, much better games in all areas.
My biggest disappointment was Ninja Gaiden 3. I was actually liking the small amount of combat I saw, and was hoping they took a huge bit of inspiration from the most recent Batman games. But clearly I was wrong.
But it is a fantastic idea for the next Ninja Gaiden. Free flow combat(with proper smooth animation flow), gadgets and stealth would do that game well.
I don't really know who else could be in it. Solid Snake is most definitely dead by Rising since it takes place long after MGS4. 110% not big boss since he died before Solid Snake.
Solidus, Liquid Ocelot, and Cyborg Ninja all don't make sense either since they're dead. So basically, all the people that would fit well into Raiden's story are all dead.
That only leaves Sunny, Otacon, or some other "back from the void" character. Maybe ...
Because a lot of people don't pre-order nowadays. Not to mention so many other games are coming out that will have the majorities' attention.
A quick and easy example of this is the fact that I know I'll be getting this game, but I have yet to pre-order it. I just haven't gotten around to it, just like many other people.
Just sounds like a "writer" with a bad attitude and no knowledge for video games.
If that's the case, I hope I don't have to spend $60 on it.
:Note:
I'm super stoked for this game, I'm just not a fan of spending $60 on something that he doesn't even think has replay value.
I pretty much agree with this. We'll be lucky to see a longer, or more revealing trailer before the end of the year.
I wouldn't mind a cool Co-op mode like they have in Mass Effect where you can play as some of the main characters in ways it would make sense.
Since there is supposed to be an "organization" of people fighting these demons in this DmC, they could even make it more like ME3's Co-op mode where you choose classes and such with custom characters.
Absolutely not necessary, but there's nothing wrong with wanting to share Devil May Cry with fri...
I think everyone should understand by now that this is an alternate universe and stop crying. Capcom already stated this doesn't mean it's the end for their (salsa dancing, rose-in-mouth, chap wearing, etc) Dante.
This game will be fantastic, and any person who likes video games will see that.
I think this is actually the complete opposite. Western developers get TONS of free passes regardless of game content.
In fact, some of the highest rated games aren't actually that good AND they're from western developers. Bethesda made developer of the year last year even though they released an unfinished game, riddled with glitches, on 2 out of 3 platforms! It even won tons of GOTY awards.
Usually journalists grill Japanese developers for not cha...
As much as I'm not expecting the Wii U to be able to compete with the PS4 and Xbox∞, I know enough to realize a port doesn't mean anything when it comes to what a console can do.
For example, would you base your PS3/Xbox360's capabilities off Call of Duty Black Ops 2 or The Last of Us and Halo 4? It's usually the exclusives that will push the console. So all we can do is wait.
But a word of advice to those hardcore Nintendo fans, don't se...
