You're full of it. I have both consoles and even though the PS3 has been out for less time I have ended up buying more exclusives for the PS3 than the 360. They're both good consoles though. The PS3 just has better exclusives.
The exlusives on the 360 haven't really impressed me.
I love Mass Effect, Fable 2 and Gears of War, and Halo 3 isn't bad, but other than that everything else that I felt was worth buying is multiplatform. PS3 does much better in terms of exclusives, in my opinion.
Killzone 2 is awesome. I don't know what you are talking about.
Nah, I am six feet tall and have fairly big hands and the PS3 controller feels perfectly fine for me. The 360 controller feels pretty good too, but everything is a little bit stiffer which tends to cause more hand fatigue for me.
The other thing I noticed is that while the whole idea of having a controller be contoured to your hands sounds great in theory, in practice I find that it causes my hands to cramp more.
When a controller is contoured it tends to force you ...
I think that whole thing about the 360 controller being better for first person shooters is a myth. At least it isn't true for me.
I find the PS3 controller to be more comfortable as well as having more precision and smoothness in the movement of the analogue sticks. And it absolutely certain that there is less dead space in the sticks of the PS3 controller.
I mean, both controllers are basically fine, I just think the controls feel a little bit more precise and ...
You're truly lacking in braincells aren't you, foxgod?
Get real! They are both good consoles. Fanboys like you are so ridiculous.
The fact is, both consoles play about 85% the same games and then both consoles also have their unique exclusives.
As long as it looks good I don't really care if it beats any other game in graphics.
God of War is one of the best franchises out there and I can't wait for God of War III.
Oh, and I could give a sh!t which game sells more. As long as a game sells well enough for the franchise to continue, that is enough.
I play games, not sales. Anybody that brings up sales should go shoot themselves in the head for being such morons. If sales are what matter to you, you sh...
I can't wait for this. Truly one of the best games on the 360.
This, Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed 2, God of War 3, are topping my list of most wanted games.
Sorry, in my opinion Mass Effect is one of the best games on the 360.
I thought the 360 version looked better in some shots and the PS3 looked better in others. All it really comes down to is contrast differences. For all intents and purposes they look exactly the same.
I buy more exclusives for my PS3 than for my 360.
I don't care too much about which console sells more. They are close enough that it doesn't matter. They are both doing fine.
That's your opinion. It doesn't make a damn bit of sense to me, but you are still entitled to it.
I think they both have a lot to offer. The PS3 is just more reliable and has more "extra" features--like Blu-ray and web browsing.
Edit: BTW, I have owned nearly every console since the NES and Master System, so I think I have you beat there.
@ celldomceen1
I know. It doesn't really make a lot of sense. When you get down to it, either a game is good or it isn't.
All I know is that many PS3 exclusives have been of the highest caliber and are among my most favorite games this generation. MGS4, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank Future, Motor Storm, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance, Killzone 2...none of these games can be described as forced or generic or anything of the sort. They are some of the most well-design...
I think all three consoles are going to do just fine.
The economies of the world are largely in pretty bad mess, but we'll all pull through.
I love the controls in Killzone 2 and prefer them to the controls in all the games you listed. All those other games feel jerky and floaty to me in comparison.
So, they didn't get the controls wrong, you just happen not to like them. But please don't pretend that you speak for all of us.
The fighting system is indeed deep, but the story and atmosphere are very weak in my opinion. It's really hard for me to get into any game that doesn't have either atmosphere or a decent narrative.
Don't get me wrong, the game is still worth playing simply for the superb fighting engine and the action. But it doesn't rise above an 8, due to those major weaknesses.
You are really strange.
I own both consoles and they both have good games. What do you mean "PS3 titles felt forced"? Uncharted sure as hell doesn't feel forced. Killzone 2 doesn't feel forced. LittleBigPlanet doesn't feel forced. And on and on.
I'm sorry, but you just sound like the typical fanboy looking through tinted glasses that distort everything you see about the 'other' console.
Personally, I have a slight preference for the PS3 ...
I'm not going to say you're not a real gamer if you don't have all the consoles. I just choose to own a PS3 and a 360, because otherwise I would be missing out on way too many good games.
There are a few good exclusives on the 360. Personally, the games I like on the 360 are Mass Effect, Gears of War, Tenchu Z, Fable 2, and Halo 3. Everything else is multi-platform.
For my tastes, the PS3 offers more in terms of exclusives. The 360's a good console for multi-plats though.
Fanboys who care about sales so much should switch over to the Wii. The Wii has sold faster than anything so far and those of you think sales are so important should be Wii loyalists, otherwise you are hypocrites.
Any sensible gamer cares about one thing: the quality of the games he/she gets to play. Not whether a game has sold 1 million or 3 million.
