To be completely honest split-screen has always annoyed me. The other screen is always a major distraction and I don't like that my screen is so small and the aspect ratio is messed up. I just don't like it. The negatives outweigh the positives.
If a game has it I might use it once in a blue moon, but I really don't miss it when a game lacks it.

Yeah, this looks fresh. Being able to climb on everything and use stealth or hand to hand combat makes this look really unique and interesting.
I was one of the people who had faith that Naughty Dog would do great things with the multiplayer modes, but wow, this really surpassed my expectations. That multiplayer mode looks original and FUN!
Well, I'll be honest, Uncharted was already my favorite game this generation and Uncharted 2 was already my most anticipated upcoming game, but this multi-player mode looks AMAZING and my anticipation for this game is now astronomical.

Yeah, I like both consoles as well. I have to admit though, that the first Uncharted is probably my favorite game of this generation and the sequel is at the top of my most-wanted list, followed by games like God of War 3, Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, Alan Wake, etc.

It's obvious that it goes both ways; 360 owners who add a PS3, as well as PS3 owners who add a 360.
From my own experience it does seem that more of my 360-only friends are getting PS3s right now. I think it is partly to do with the fact that many of my PS3-owning friends already owned a 360.

Nope, I have seen it both ways. Which is as it should be, since both consoles have plenty to offer. I feel sorry for people who are going to miss out on upcoming games like Mass Effect 2 or Uncharted 2. Either way, you are missing out big time.
Look, both consoles play 85% the same games, so either console is going give you 85% pretty much the same experience. The other 15% is comprised of exclusives. Now, both consoles have good exclusives and I personally wouldn't want to do without either console.

I've been playing games since the very beginning and I agree with you guys to a point. I have a lot of respect for many of those older consoles (NES, Genesis, PS1, in particular), but I still think modern day gaming is far better than it has ever been before.
I think nostalgia gets the better of some people and they see those old consoles through rose colored glasses.

Gears is a good game guys. No need to put it down, just because Uncharted 2 is looking awesome.
Now, I do admit that I enjoyed the first Uncharted better than either Gears of War games and Uncharted 2 looks amazing, but still, Gears is a good franchise.
This new Uncharted 2 multiplayer info sounds amazing and I think it will be some of the most fun that can be had online.
