I don't care who sells the most. All three consoles are doing perfectly fine. What I really care about is the quality of game experiences these consoles give me.
Right now the PS3 is giving me the best quality, followed by the 360, and lastly the Wii. Funny how it is exactly opposite of their respective sales numbers.
I don't really think Sony was that arrogant. That whole idea of them being arrogant was WAAAAY over exaggerated.
I have seen all game companies be aggressive at times and restrained at times. If people can't see that, they're blind.
The PS3's potential and what might be achieved in the future is an interesting thing to think about, but what is more important than that is that many PS3 exclusives have already pushed the graphical bounds of what is possible on a console, which has made those games even more vivid and engaging game experiences than they would have been with lesser graphics.
What I am saying is that many PS3 games have already been pushing the boundaries. If there are better things to come, wow...
I own them both and I like them both, but that still doesn't change the fact that many PS3 exclusives look better than anything on the 360.
People that deny that are the same kind of people who say silly things like "DVD looks pretty much as good as Blu-ray". Unperceptive people that have no ability to distinguish degrees of graphical fidelity.
I guarantee that it won't look that good or perform that good when it is used to actually run a game.
It means nothing until we see it actually powering a game.
But you have to admit that not having to swap discs is better, right?
It's also a lot more simple and convenient to only have to deal with one disc instead of multiple discs.
I don't know, if multiple discs and disc swapping is no big deal does that mean that we can just stick with DVD from here on out? In fact, maybe we should have just stayed with CDs. After all, swapping discs and having a big fat case is no big deal right?
Exactly. PS3 exclusives like Uncharted and Killzone 2 are of a graphical quality that is a fairly big step over anything I have seen on the 360. While on the other hand, the difference in multiplatfom games is generally very, very small.
Lately the difference has become even smaller. Two recent multiplatform games I bought for the PS3 were Dead Space and Chronicles of Riddick because I liked the way they looked and controlled better on the PS3.
360isthebest is a flop poster. None of his comments make any sense.
Go play your sales, fanboy.
I agree, Dead Space is a much better game than Resident Evil 5. I enjoyed it a lot more.
I appreciate EA's change of direction.
It's my favorite 360 exclusive by far and one of my favorite games period. I wish the 360 had more of them though.
Mass Effect = Awesome
Gears of War, Halo 3, Fable 2 = good
Anything else? Not much, in my opinion. All the other great games are multiplatform.
I'm really looking forward to Mass Effect 2. The first one, despite its technical problems is one of my favorite games.
It will be interesting to see if this game makes its way to the PS3. In a way I don't think it should. The 360 needs at least a few decent exclusives. Now that most multiplatform games are dang near identical (I bought Chronicles of Riddick for the PS3 because I thought it looked and felt slightly better) I'm finding fewer reasons to use my 360. Mass Effe...
Probably my most anticipated game this year. I honestly would love to hear anything about it, but Naughty Dog are game-creating geniuses as far as I am concerned and I know that whatever they have planned for Uncharted 2 is going to be awesome.
Well, I disagree. The PS3 has better exclusives, more multimedia capabilities and is much more reliable. If price is all you care about, was the Wii a better console than the 360 before the recent price drop? Did you buy a Wii because it was the cheapest console? Didn't think so.
Game quality and reliability trump all other factors in my opinion.
I have those games and yes they are some of the better 360 games but you are an absolute dunce if you don't realize that there are a lot of superb exclusives on the PS3. As for Uncharted, well it's one of my very favorite games this generation.
Just enjoy the games instead of being such a raging fanboy.
What in the world was wrong with the shooting in the first one? I thought it was excellent.
Either you're just talking crap because you are a 360 fanboy (most likely) or you just have incredibly poor taste.
Uncharted is one of my favorite games of all time.
No, you're wrong dude. I didn't start out a fan of the PS3. In fact I was more of a fan of the 360, but the PS3 won me over by the quality of its exclusives. Games like Killzone 2, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, Heavenly Sword, and Motor Storm are some of my favorite games this generation. I still like my 360, aside from the poor reliability, but only a moron doesn't give props to the quality of games coming out on the PS3.
I know. Uncharted is one of my favorite games of all time. That game is very special.
Well, I love Killzone 2 and Uncharted and I don't really agree that Killzone 2 blows away Uncharted. I mean, KZ2 definitely looks better in some ways, but there are things about Uncharted that look better than any other game that I have seen. All in all I think they are pretty close and I would say they are probably the two best looking games out there at the moment.
I like the control in Killzone 2 better than any other shooter. I seriously, for the life of me, can not understand how anybody could have a problem with the controls.
