because I'm only about an hour away from completing GoW 2. I'm sure I'll appreciate it during my final minutes and in about a year from now when I replay it
Oh well, this is still absolutely creative and ingenius nonetheless...In true cryptic God of War fashion, I must say! More!... gimme MORE Kratos!!!
BTW: I've taken the liberty of rearranging the image to form the correct puzzle (I tried briefly to do the actual puzzle, but quickly became anxious to see the f...
I think you may have misread: Deep said 'personally', not 'personality.'
But that's not to say that one cannot have a personal opinion about personality, personally speaking. ;)
because I checked out the site at (my) 2am only seven hours ago (immediately after FORCING myself to stop playing Gow2, incidentally), and the clock had indeed reset to two days remaining. What, some insomniac at Sony couldn't sleep, and decided to put some content up???
I haven't checked my copy yet, but could this footage be excerpted from the bonus DVD included with GoW2?
Can someone please direct me to the 'GoW for PlayStation 3 Announced for Release Septemb...
but don't know if it qualifies as newsworthy.
Entertaining nonetheless.
but I've gotta ask simply out of curiosity: Do you ever sleep???
I myself habitually sleep only about 4-5 hours per day max, but knowing that your timezone is five hours ahead of mine, I find it outstanding and head-scratching that you're posts are always only minutes old, whether it's my morning, afternoon, or late evening.
Good God, the man's not human!!! ;)
BLADESTAR: Your comment actually made me chuckle out loud...after the joke finally sunk...
Namely:
-Postal (circa '97???), where you're a nut-job in a trench coat who, as the character puts it, "regrets nothing", and who's purpose is nothing more than to wander around and blow away innocent by-standers of all sorts.
-The FIRST GTA (although relatively benign to what's out there today, it's what stirred the pot of controversy for the series in the first place.)
-Mortal Kombat (primarily due to the blood and violent actions/fatal...
Viva il Playstation Tre per sempre!!!
______
Question: Can anyone confirm whether the Playstation network is shared universally amongst all users world-wide?
i.e., can a user in Canada add/interact/play with users from Italy or other parts of the world, or are the networks mutually exclusive to each region?
but that's a statement bold enough to question whether he's lost his marbles, or whether it's a fabricated quote altogether.
I've been a long-time PC gaming fanatic (though my current hardware would suggest otherwise.) Ever since the 3DFX days, the critical key for successfully running a 3D computer game without hiccups has long relied much more heavily upon a competent (read: relatively EXPENSIVE) video card, and not CPU processing power.
You can integrate as m...
For the record, I just got home...made a(n impulse) pitstop at EB Games and picked up up Splinter Cell after all. I've always been wanting to get into the Splinter Cell games, but haven't had enough PC horsepower as of late.
I've got Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror for my PSP, and I absolutely loved it. If Splinter Cell is anything like Syphon Filter, I'll definitely be happy.
Besides, I felt compelled to buy another game, since I'm already twelve hours into God of ...
After questioning the value of the purchasing the PS3's version of Splinter Cell, and considering F.E.A.R. as an alternative, some of you here were kind enough to compel me to reconsider. As a result, after some surfing around, Splinter Cell for PS3 is starting to look good again.
But I'm honestly still undecided and need some advice.
That said: For those who've played both, which game would you choose between Splinter Cell and F.E.A.R.?
Uh...sure.
but you may want to look up the definition of mortgage, should you choose to refer to it in technical terms.
Most people relate mortgage strictly as a loan for purchasing a dwelling or property...but any loan can be ammortized, no matter the amount or purpose.
As explained in my previous post, my usage of the term was nothing more than a figure of speech.
Also, no need to bash poor Anego; I think your intention was to respond to me. And hey, thank...
because a mortgage to me, feels like a series of never-ending payments. And having to continuously pay for the ability to play my buddies online - a feature that is so proprietary, necessary, critical, and such a strong selling point of the 360 - really, really, REALLY rubs me the wrong way.
Especially after already having invested hundreds of bucks for a piece of gaming hardware which boasts and prides itself of online functionality.
I'm sorry but it feels a li...
it raises some critical points, namely in reference to the psychological price difference between the 360 and PS3. I've forever strongly disagreed with the general consensus that the 360 (Premium) was a better buy, value, or even cheaper than the PS3. Not only because 360 Premium buyers are physically receiving less hardware and functionalitly (NOT referring to processing power - that's a completely different discussion) than PS3 owners, but PRIMARILY because the 360 Premium's perceived &qu...
which now has multiplayer and trackable stats???
Sold!
First, upon viewing the video, the constant re-occurring themes with this game seem to be "simple" and "easy." I'm afraid that making all moves so easily accessible to anyone who picks up the controller may drastically dumb-down human competition. How can a hardcore player gain a meaningful edge if it's so easy form ANYONE to be a so-called "MK Master", as the video insinuates.
One other concern is whether the Wii controls are sensetive, accurate...
Excellent, logical post...bubbles for you!
My quick-and-dirty opinion: I fully agree that the 360 is the one to beat...AS AT NOW. It's common sense, really. They've got the existing, readily available games, as well as the ever-critical (largest) next-gen install base.
The 360 is indeed, without doubt, "the one to beat", as the PS3 has got some catching up to do as a result of the year-plus lag.
However, it's very difficult for even th...
are ultimately two different animals...although they share much of the same guts.
And if DX10 delivers as publicised, you're gonna be seeing graphics at a whole new level (it's a big "IF", mind you.) For the life of me, I'm unable to find the issue number, but about five or six months ago, Maximum PC magazine published an issue bearing an attractive female model on the cover...only by reading the fine print did I learn that she was CGI. I never seen anything like it...
...and I'll definitely take both your advice to heart and wait for all the alternatives to become available.
Nonetheless, the two-hundred-dollar area appears to be my sweet spot...unless I decide to get back into 3D modelling/animation (been really, really getting the itch, lately.) Then I'll definitely move my price point up a notch (or two.)
to justify me purchasing it. Though it's rather one-dimensional of me, I can't help but be afraid that gameplay will be shallow, and that the novelty will wear off and become repetitious rather quickly.
However...
Breezing through that in-depth preview, and learning about the immense variety, as well as a story mode(!), I can honestly say that my ears became instantly perked. I am now able to associate this game to something along the lines of those dogfight ai...
