While stranded on a mysterious island, the player must run around and collect as many clues as possible...clues that pertain to an unending amount of obscure riddles which make absolutely no logical sense whatsoever, and cannot possibly possess any definitive answer at all.
While on their adventerous journey, the player is required to interact with new irrelevant game characters who materialize out of thin air.
A player wins the game when they are able to retain ...
I sense a "Best Ass-a-tar" contest a-brewin'...
(Hey, there could be worse, I suppose...and it'll be a great supplement for those dreaded slow-news days!) ; )
What existential facts or evidence substantiate your harsh accusations?
I'm seriously asking because I'd honestly like to hear why.
Congratulations...you've actually got me drooling.
EVERYTHING about this game is absolutely gorgeous! And the fantastic lighting...
More lightening, more lightening!!!
I'm just floored.
Fingers crossed that the gameplay will match suit.
this is PRECISELY what went through my mind, and was expecting...only not so quickly.
It's incredible, as I type this the cops haven't even released a smidgen of vital or useful info whatsoever, and this dud...er, dude is already exploiting such an unfortunate situation strictly for his own benefit, in effort to make himself popular.
Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
And here's the kicker: as of this writing, the cops haven't even been able to IDENTIFY...
Does that mean that you would then cry?
Smarten up.
but if Sony follows through with this only days after dropping the 20 gigger, then the completed mathematical equation of this situation would be interpreted as follows:
60 - 20 = 80(???)
I'm confused. ;)
but the biggest thing that drives me crazy about that game, is the horrendously long loading time when choosing a vehicle. THAT would be nice to fix.
Somewhat unrelated question: Does anyone know whether the available vehicle models (within each category) perform differently from each other, or is it nothing but visual?
(Hungrily rubs hands together as he anticipates the next firmware update.)
...It looks great to me.
If you prefer, you can view larger version: Click the source link and to the right of the video box, you'll have an option to view or download the higher-res versions (in mov or wmv formats).
I would have added the notice to the story body, but didn't see the higher-resolution links till now (after the story became approved.)
another article which failed approval for this website last week.
I maintain the same opinion I wrote then:
"I know this guy holds a lot of weight in the industry but that's a statement bold enough to question whether he's lost his marbles, or whether it's a fabricated quote altogether.
I've been a long-time PC gaming fanatic (though my current hardware would suggest otherwise.) Ever since the 3DFX days, the critical key for successfully runn...
If this video is truly genuine, I have a really, really hard time understanding all that hyped-up non-sense that the game was poorly ported to the PS3.
With the exception of some brightness/contrast differences, the games are damn-near identical. At least from what I can tell in this video.
Once extremely pumped for this game, all the bad wrap about the PS3 version actually discouraged me from wanting to picking it up...Looks like I'm gonna have to reconsider my...
Really guys, you aren't missing anything - the game looks fantastic which ever way you view it...and I'm an over-obsessively extreme stickler when it comes to visuals and audio.
Enjoy the game. You're gonna absolutely love it.
(Although the some of the Challenges of the Titans are an express ticket to the psychiatric ward.)
Even more reason for me to look forward to this game.
I suppose it's not an issue, but I would have assumed that the slight lag caused by online play may have been an issue with accurately timing/synchronizing the music and all the players involved. (much like the split-second timing/accuracy necessary for Virtua Fighter 5 to have had successful have online play - which is specifically why it was omitted, from what I understand.)
Anyway, good to know.
But I'm not sure whether two games that's are so closely psychologically tied to a specific console - in a country where that specific console is so relatively dominant and preferred - are going to actually "save" the product from failure.
Although it would no doubt help push a number 360 sales, it would definitely not be the "be-all, end-all" deciding factor for the console's success.
Ironically, over the past two days, I've been hooked on a fighting game that's a decade and a half old.
As klunky and visually dated as the game is, I forgot how incredibly fun and addictive MKII actually is. I've already gotten way more than my $5.99's worth. What's even more fun is replaying the game with the same people who you used to waste hours upon hours with, when the game was still new and innovative. Nostalgic!
Ah, good times, good times indeed.
But I've only got about a measley $1,000 invested from about a year ago (bought at approximately $48).
So yeah, technically I'm up...but not enough to envision a 70" Sony Bravia sitting in my living room any time in the near future.
But hey, if my calculations are correct, I my reapings may actually allow me to afford that Mortal Kombat II online purchase I've been long dreaming for!
Oh wait...the game is $5 in American funds, and not Canadian...
Re: Your quote: "Are you crazy man?"
No...
He's "CrazzyMan!"
(You were close, though) :P
Very technically in-depth, unlike the many other predictable interview pieces that are comprised of nothing more than shallow, canned responses and rehashed information.
The article makes me feel that much more warm and fuzzy about my PS3...as well as Insomniac.
What an understatement that is.
I can't recall how many times I was CERTAIN that I would be set for years, with the assumption that I finally had the perfect amount of hard disk drive space, RAM, or media card capacity...only to discover months later that I'd be needing to add or upgrade. Again.
It's interesting to see that developers are already beginning to take advantage of the additional storage space the Blu-Ray medium allows. I can only imagine that the v...
