Did you remove the space just recently, or have I been getting my MK-ass kicked by an imposter "Anego Montoya"???

You know, I've gotta say, I've got Portable Ops as well, and although It's been a great game so far (yet to be finished - I'm at some part where I have to find a ballistic missle launch facility at some underground silo), I don't think (personally, of course) that it could hold a candle to Syphon Filter...S.F., was one of my first games (along with Daxter), and man did that game ever keep me wanting more!...Portable Ops, just feels...emptier, compared to S.F..

Nonetheless, I th...

but I couldn't agree more; I don't think I properly expressed what I was trying to convey.

I've been absolutely loving, showcasing, and defending my PSP since acquiring it over a year ago.

What I meant by 'first "true" system seller' (note the quoted "true") was that, despite the fantastic current and upcoming games available for the PSP, this is probably the first title with such an incredible high profile and immense influence made available...

Thank you kindly for asking.

The available downloadable titles aren't too shabby either...and a decent bargain to boot!

but I get a strong hunch that this is an entirely new game.

Not only because the cutscenes appear completely new and unfamiliar, but more so because of what is said in the narration.:

"...would one day confront the humanity he had lost, on the day this dark legend was born."

I'll go out on a limb and assume that this game entails the beginning of Kratos (pre-God of War I).

True...that crossed my mind as well.

But I think Deep has a point: Blu-Ray is renoundly known to hold fifty gigs of data (despite the current 'true' limit of 200GB), while, HD-DVD is generally known to hold only thirty. I get a sense that if they were referring to HD-DVD, they would've specified fifty-ONE GB capacity.

Sure, I admit to be splitting hairs, but that's all the fun about harmless unsubstantiated speculation!

But shouldn't some researc...

I have a gut feeling that this game is going to cause a lot of positive reactions like the one just expressed in your comment.

This game may very likely be the PSP's first "true" system-seller.

I tend to usually go through random day-long marathons, as opposed to a few hours per day (hmmm...today looks like a fine day for another one of those little Fold-a-thons).

It's does appear true though, that the PS3 has dramatically increased the project's recognition as well as performance. I and every one around me hadn't heard of Folding@home until the emergence of the PS3.

A few weeks ago, while happening catch some Italian news off of Italy's international ...

It looks as if the oft-neglected PSP is finally getting it's due of games!

Getting this title's a definite no-brainer as far as I'm concerned.

and were targeted specifically at PSP owners; HD media is (ultimately) destined for the masses (not necessarily videogamers), as it is destined to replace an existing widely-accepted medium (DVD).

In addition, it is absolutely impossible to rule out the influence that the PS3 does - and will - have on HD media-based sales. Not only can it indeed be directly comparable to any stand-alone HD player (in terms of quality, functionality, and sometimes even price), but any PS3 machi...

I want MS (and Nintendo) to stay right where they are.

Because it's their very presence and competitive offerings that compel Sony to make me love my PS3 as much as I do.

Because if they WEREN'T around, we'd all still be playing PaRappa the Rapper on a PSOne platform (IF!). And for those of you who think Sony's arrogant NOW...well, you 'ain't seen nothing', hadn't the competition been around to keep them in check.

And don't fool yourself by thinki...

these early numbers indeed matter...especially if the trend continues as we head toward the holiday season a half-year from now. Part of the reason Blu-Ray is selling so well is because of the overall-superior titles (i.e., greater studio support.) the format makes available. This does and shall indeed drive hardware sales.

However, Blu-Ray is nonetheless currently missing out on an enormous chunck of the market as a result of outrageously priced stand-alones (compared to t...

Given those comparative benchmarks, those hotrod flames on the shell are quite justifiable.

Looks like I may be reconsidering purchasing Nvidia after all. For me, my purchase is going to rely heavily upon DX10 performance as well...and make no mistake that we WILL see DX10 in action one day!!!...err...right???

(Possibly maybe???)

...considering that Sony kept (failingly) going through Hell and high water to inhibit homebrew on the PSP. Maybe that's actually what compelled them to give in? ("If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!")

Sadly, I'm one of the guys who ended up with the un-hackable PSP board version. :(

Maybe I can now make up for it with my PS3!
