Well, I mean...
What else are you gonna play?
imjussayin'
I've had an XBO for almost two months and that's still the only game I have...
Naughty Dog is taking over almost every top article on here today haha
Can't wait for this and Uncharted! Never got to play The Last of Us
I'm very excited, I just bought my PS4 a couple of hours ago. Looks likes I made it just in time for the beta!!
I have an XB1 in my apartment, as well. I feel a little empty in terms of titles but that's expected, especially during the summer. Surprisingly enough, the Snap feature is my favorite thing on the system because I watch a lot of YouTube, so I find myself on there while playing Titanfall.
On another note, I'm super excited for next Wednesday. I'm finally pick up a PS4!! Starting out with Infamous and Killzone, I was gonna wait for the white bundle but I can barely...
This was my first thought.
It would be bad business to make deals immediately after a price drop.. the thing should be selling itself.
Either they made a week at a very bad time or the initial units are still struggling to lift off.
@Death
That's nice, but MS's increase in market share last gen compared to the gen before is nothing compared to what Nintendo gained.
Many like to pretend like MS depleted Sony's market share singlehandedly, when that simply wasn't the case.
Yes, the bottom line is that Sony lost a lot last generation, but 1. The love was spread almost evenly and 2. Looking ahead, MS doesn't look to steal much of anything this time around...
Its one thing to witness the impressive numbers the PS4 continues to reach month after month, and something completely different to realize how there has been no buzz whatsoever regarding the Kinectless XBO.
Its been over a week. For something as significant as a $100 price drop, you would have heard something about its success a long time ago. When the 360 dropped price that much, it was only a matter of days until you heard the news of a large sale increase. With the first ...
*repost*
As a GTA fanboy, it was absolute torture having to wait so long till I heard about a next gen version of 5, but I told myself not to buy because I needed the best console version possible.
I even caved in and bought it, but returned it after a day because I just had to wait till E3 to hear news about a next gen version.
You have no idea how happy that announcement made me. I've been waiting since September...
Septemmmbeeeeerrrr!!!!!!!!
Yes. It is a well known fact that those two trailers were the only ones shown at the conference.
-_-
Most of the trailers shown at Sonys conference were gameplay. Far Cry 4 and Arkham Knight alone were two big gameplay reveals.
Same here, that was literally the only announcement I was hoping for. Everything else that was announced was just icing on the cake.
Can't wait to pick up my PS4!
Some free to play games use microtransactions to make some money. The game itself is still free to play, though.
The last four presentations from Sony alone were huge for me. MGSV GTAV Batman and ending on Uncharted??
Not to mention the awesome opening, an LBP3 announcement and PSTV coming to the US, it was obvious for me.
Sony had more standouts, they win it. I didn't expect it at all, but they did.
Amazing!! This and assassins was the one-two the destroyed EAs conference by comparison.
I agree. While I think they had a solid conference, and didn't talk about the things that damaged their brand (kinect and TV focus), more than solid was required.
Sony was in a tough spot coming into E3 due to their outstanding performance last year, but MS kind of made it easier for them just now.
Revealing something as simple as Fallout 4 or the return of a really big franchise can put Sony up for best conference.
As for buying XBO over...
They will.
I think its an awesome idea and great for attendees, but it doesn't really tell people that you're confident that your product will sell on its own.
Call of Duty still sells because it's still the dominant shooter in its genre. Games that are tried and true, and don't steer too far from their predecessors are notorious for their ongoing success through generations.
Since Modern Warfare, not a whole lot has changed in gameplay.
Since Gran Turismo, not a whole lot has changed in gameplay.
Same for Mario, Grand Theft Auto, Madden, FIFA and any other game that developers crank out. The differe...
I never really picked up any copies of this magazine myself, but I always felt comfortable knowing that these and others like it were around. It's unfortunately a breed that will soon be extinct due to what will arguably go down as the greatest invention of the 20th century - The Internet. Nothing on the list of human inventions has grown nearly as rapidly as this has.
It was bound to happen, but at least we gained something massive to take its place.
It's definitely not a good sign when "Day One" Editions of a console that launched over 5 months ago are still being sold by retailers, especially one as large as Amazon, and this definitely puts everything into perspective.
1.2 million units shipped in 2014 alone looks horrible when compared to the biggest competitor, whom managed to actually sell through much more than that. It sucks for MS because they're actually on pretty good terms when compared to the...
The most baffling thing to me is - what is the point of doing that?
Even if they put the XBO at 30 million and PS4 at 2,000, that does nothing for the industry. Literally everyone who keeps tabs on this industry knows how ridiculous this site is with numbers. Its a laughing stock. Why does that guys waste his energy?
