Or be crazy cheap. I don't have a lot of faith in google but I hope I'm wrong.
It might use the new Q os that Google is launching next year.
I really miss Peter Moore. It will take a new CEO and a couple of years to turn it around. I worked at EA back in the MOH days and i can tell you that 98% of the employees there are passionate and dedicated to making good games. Decisions made from up above will straight up kick you in the balls. Nothing you can really do. It all starts with leadership. Larry Probst and Peter Moore were my fav. John Riccitiello sounded like Kermit the frog.
Insomniac and kojima would fit nicely in Sony's 1st party portfolio.
Just curious. What percentage of new ps4 games are on PSNow? And it's only $20/month right?
Seriously? Come on man.
Nope, not one single person according to averagejoe.
Sony fans getting scared? Come on guys, Sony is good too.
@gamingunited (ironic),
Azure and Project XCloud are the same thing.
Angry Birds!!
I think what MS and Google are going for is at a higher resolution than what PSnow currently offers. That's not to say Sony won't improve it, they absolutely will. Sony's struggle this next gen with regard to streaming will be latency. Google and MS have servers strategically placed throughout the world spaced apart just enough to ensure latency isn't as big of an issue.
Agreed! The worst thing MS can do right now is split their new first parties up and force them to make VR games. I don't think anybody wants that.
You don't consider Hololens a risk? I do, a big one. Microsoft takes risks, they just don't lineup with your gaming needs at the moment, and that's... ok. It's a good thing that the big 3 are so different. Means more gaming options.
90 million, no? 20 million, yes! Someone above mentioned that Kinect sold like 35 million units. 3 million units is not where you want to be when you have a user base of 90 million. If this was xbox, people would be laughing at 3 million.
E3 2020 for the new studio game reveals
I really hope MS doesn't jump into VR with this next generation. Doesn't really seem necessary at this point. I mean, they support VR for windows but I don't think Xbox gamers are clamoring for VR anymore. MS needs to focus on building out their first party studios and services and leave VR to PC and Sony.
Since they haven't really started development yet, I would think it would be at least 2 years before we get a tease.
This game looks like a lot of fun. I'm in.
This is probably just a trial run. They will get it working right and on as many mobile devices as possible.
But if you love those games with a passion, that's not a bad thing. Up to the individual to decide when they are burnt on a franchise.
