If you hate campers, play KZ2 or Bad Company 2 or MAG MW2 rewards campers. Some prefer to play that way. Personally, after the intense squad-based multiplayer of KZ2 and then MAG, where tactics and teamplay matter more, CoD seems so weak and unsatisfying
You know whats really shocking? The First Lost Planet outsold Bioshock and Mass effect (or at least ran the close) on the 360. Both those games were so far superior to Lost Planet

I guess, the conclusions are: 1. Buy this game if you a multiplayer junkie, rent if you play single-player 2. Keep expectations low if you are a stealth fan, this game was designed for the Halo/gears crowd 3. While EDGE is statistically proven to be biased against PS3, Eurogamer are jquite likely to score 360 games low as well 4. 5 years for this? What were they doing, exactly?
Somehow, though some racing games do seem to have coop on the PS3 (Motorstorm 2 is excellent) but overall you are right Try out Borderlands, I think GRAW and R6 also have coop, Resistance 1 was good too (wish they had kept splitscren in R2 even though theonline was great)

Its closer to Halo than MGS, not even in the same league as MGS previously and now its so diluted its practically become an action game. Story? A single-player you can wrap up in less than half the time of MGS 4 (that’s if you exclude the cutscenes), even the positive reviews such as IGN basically say buy this only for the multiplayer. Well, not an excuse, just a plain statement of facts - the amount of spoilers on Heavy Rain was just unbelievable. And it was several different people at it. What made it worse was that it was a story-driven game, whereas Gears 2? Does anyone even care what sorry excuse of a plot it has?

What do you want to have the perfect Gears experience, with all the flaws and glitches and host lag removed, better graphics, gameplay, story? Buy a PS3 and play Uncharted 2!
Or maybe he had heavy Rain ruined by one of the 360 users posting spoilers here. It will be even more “eventful” when Alan Wake comes out, because that is more story-driven. Poor behaviour, but as they say, don’t dish it out if you cant take it.
And as for those complaining about how this is less stealth-oriented, of course it will be to cater to its audience - the only games that succeed on the 360 are brain-dead shooters, would you believe that the original Mass Effect was almost outsold by Heavy Rain on the PS3?
Thank god Deus Ex 3 and Thief 4 are not 360 exclusive, at least those wil remain true to their roots.

360 graphics card + EDRAM > PS3 graphics card, BUT the 360 game has to run below 720p to fit the framebuffer
PS3 graphics card + dedicated hard drive + Blu-ray + Cell >>> 360 graphics card + DVD + lacking compulsory hard drive + 360 Procesor

The one thing I wish they could recreate on the PS3 is the environments. The trees and sunlight look great in Crysis

Yes I remember Mass Effect, that was a shocker - maybe we are wrong, Edge doesnt hate the PS3, they just hate good games!
Probably the lowest score ever awarded by Edge to a major 360 exclusive, and still higher than the score awarded to most PS3 exclusives
