I was going to buy the game last month, before I saw that it was coming to Game Pass this. What a great gift to Xbox gamers and a free incredible looking 4K/ HDR title for the X.

Though the issue is that Rocket League was built on an old version of Microsoft’s SDK(software development kit) and in order to get to where they need to be with X support, they would have to upgrade the SDK and therefore have to go back and rewrite code for the multiplayer... because the way it’s handled has changed in the new SDK. A lot. To my phone, my Vita. I loved having all of my PS4 games at fingers reach. It was a very cool feature. Especially when traveling, which I do a lot. I would hook my phone up to TVs and it would be like having a portable system with me. Even had my Dual Shock controller working through Bluetooth.
Great times and I would love to be able to stream my Xbox One X games in 4K. My Gigabit Internet is ready and willing. LoL.
Awesome addition. Though, I would also like to see that same live upload/ download list in the iOS and Android app. Along with a live stream of the Xbox dashboard, so that I can browse through it and download games from the store. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to do, Sony has been doing it with the PS4 since launch, along with allowing users to stream and play their PS4 games on their phone and Vita. Something I used all of the time.

Exactly. Purchasing one company like EA could alleviate a lot of their first party problem. Can you imagine games like Battlefield, Battlefront(Star Wars in general), The Sims, NFS, Mass Effect, Madden, NHL, NBA, PGA, UFC, Anthem, Titanfall and all of the hundreds of EAs back IPs to pull from, all Xbox and/ or PC exclusive.

Considering how much this game throws at you on the screen at once, 1440p should look incredible. I also haven’t played a Dynasty Warriors game since the Xbox 360 or PS2. So, I may jump back in with this one. I always had a blast with them.
LoL. Its not like they dont make money off of third party games for the console, which in Microsofts case... are the majority of titles. So, this is just sour grapes and is only going to drive their Xbox customers to another store to purchase games and consoles. Their loss, another stores gain.

When I first watched the video from Microsoft this afternoon, I thought they had labeled the video wrong or they were just 3 hour trials. Its nuts that they are adding those full games to the service. There is a difference between loving a system and going out of your way to make others who game on another system feel bad or lesser for not owning it. Which was my point. I love the idea behind this tech. Offload compute tasks, like AI and physics, to cloud based server farms. Though, Id like to see them allow it to use a persons home computers for these tasks, also. It would certainly help eliminate any lag caused by online issues. Imagine your iPad, phone and home computer working together with your Xbox or PS4 to help power CPU intensive tasks and help with framerates. Agreed. 4K alone does not make a great picture. The texture resolution, anisotropic filtering, AA, draw distance, LOD, lighting and shadowing all come together to make a cohesive visual experience. The article was about the X upgrades to Forza 3, not about anything else. He said their next title is using the X as its lead platform, but never mentioned it by name. The writer is assuming that its Forza, but doesnt have any facts that it actually is. Just like I dont have any clue if its Fable, though industry insiders think it is. In no way, shape or form did the interview state they were working on a Forza game. The word in development circles is, its these guys who are working on the new Fable game. Funny how a website reads what they want into an interview and makes it headline news on their site, without once checking the source to see if their assumption is true.

The developer wasnt talking about their game, they were talking about AAA titles in general. Saying that even the most beautiful AAA title can be rendered at native 4K on the X and Pro with a little work and optimization.
The fact is, if a game targets any one system, it can achieve great things. The issues arrise when you have a game or engine that doesnt scale well. Then you do what you can to get the best out of it. Which is why some games run at native 4K on the X, Pro ...
I was hoping for a first person option, like GTA V. Battle Royals mode also sounds interesting set in this time period and with the vast landscape Rockstar games usually cover. There would be a million places to hide and set up ambushes. Hopefully we are able to set traps.
Great stuff! I am one of the few who are glad it got delayed. Not only for polish, but this is one of those games that makes a Christmas break. I cant wait to play it!
