This game has me the most intrigued of any. The idea of being alive and well before the apocalypse starts, but knowing it's coming, opens up all sorts of gameplay possibilities. Being able to enjoy the world, see it in its glory before the major catastrophe hits… Makes the aftermath of it that much more devastating and claustrophobic, knowing what that world once was and having to deal with what it is now and scrounge for what was once so easily gotten. I can't think of a better game ...
Am I the only one who finds one of the most impressive things starting up a game and finding the new content there without you having to download it? I was thinking when I started Driveclub today that I would have to download the content, but when I started the game it was already there. I played a couple of the Japanese tracks, they are definitely impressive, though I really want to see some city tracks soon. I would also like to see some different single player mini games, like a Chase and ...
Prove it by bringing the prequel's, in game form, to next gen consoles. Otherwise it's all talk. Ha ha ha. By the way, before you ask, none of this has to do with my longing for the prequels to be brought out in game form with NextGen visuals intact. Wink wink. ;)
Rapture, Rime and Ratchet round out some of my most wanted games this year. Add in Wild, The Witcher 3 and Ethan Carter and it is going to be an incredible year for the Playstation camp. Both exclusive and non. Cant wait!
The problem is, its easy to be natural and have a good, constant flow at a live event... because the excitement is in the air and you get caught up in it. When you are in a confined recording studio, looking at an engineer and a few other people from the dev team... There isnt much to get excited about. You just have to reach down and deliver the best version of what you do at a live event, you can, without overacting or under performing. Its a common problem with all sports games commentary,...
It's actually a chain of command that's at fault. Investors want to see more and more profit, publishers want to give them that profit so they continue to invest in the company to keep making better games... from Fall to Christmas, you get the best sellthrough of the year. The best time to regain lost profits and increase that bottom line that investors seek.
Who gets hurt in this process? The developers and gamers. No developer wants his name on any project that fail...
Id imagine it would work with any android-based unit. I think it has to be 4.2 or higher, as far as version though.
Also, for a limited time only, comes with free FBI investigations and extended jail terms. Act now... before this deal is gone!
Ive been playing GTA V via remote play on my G3, with the new software that allows it without a jailbreak. It works fairly well, with the caviet being that you have to jailbreak if you want to use the dualshock 4. Even with the onscreen controls, its not bad. But, as the article states, I ran into graphic glitches and drops... Even next to my console and on a 300Mb internet connection. My guess, is that it is either a coding error within the software itself or some sort of streaming issue wit...
A locked 30 will keep a consistant 30fps throughout. Techland had it running at 30-60fps, but decided to lock it to 30 for a more consistant experience. As someone else said, a quick drop from 60 to 40 will feel glitchy and not as smooth as a consistant 30. At 30, they can up the visual fidelity more and add post effects that an unlocked framerate above it... Would not allow. Also, unlocked framerates tend to invite that pesky tearing that everyone loves so much.
If this game...
What I like about this game is it combines the best of quite a few games that I've loved in the past. Dead Island, Condemned and Mirrors Edge. It looks like it is going to live up to the hype, going by the latest videos. I cant wait to finally get my hands on it.
If they allow us to do panorama shots like these, I will end up spending dozens of hours doing so. I just cant imagine how good this game is going to look and play, with another 3 months in he hopper. Get ready, my friends... Clear your May schedules... This game is going to consume your life. :)
Happy Holidays everyone.
I was in every beta they had for this project, the game is fun in spurts… But the biggest issue I had with it was excessive pop in. With entire mountain ranges popping up just 100 or more feet away from me. Cars popping in within a block and a half. With traffic making a significant impact on each race, not seeing it until you are on on top of it... is a big issue. Especially with the faster cars. If they were to fix the pop in, make it almost nonexistent like in GTA V… I think the game would...
The funny thing is, as I explained in another thread… The same kind of thing happened to me within my first 30 minutes of playing. I was just standing still admiring the traffic flow and cars in the distance and a police chase came out of nowhere, wrecked in an intersection, a shootout then started which resulted in the people that police were chasing to be shot dead and an ambulance to come to clean everything up. Talking about a hell of a way to start the first 30 minutes of gameplay withou...
Im playing GTA for the first time on any platform, via the PS4 right now... After playing over 30 hours of Watchdogs, GTA wins without a fight. The world feels more alive, the lighting is better, sound draws you into the game world like no other, the draw distance goes for miles in the distance(Watchdogs is about a block and a half, max), the world around you acts and reacts to itself(Watchdogs world would stay the same until you walked a block and a half away and it reset the street).
Knowingly defrauding a company with the intent of personal gain is illegal. It doesnt matter who posted what. Any intelligent person would know that noone is selling PS4s for $50. Yet it didnt stop them from taking that ad to Walmart to defraud them by stating that ad was real. Even if they didnt know the ad was fake, it falls under the same legal recourse as someone buying stolen merchendise that they didnt know was stolen. You can still be prosecuted.
I studied law, half of...
Walmart wouldnt be suing, theyd be calling the local authorities and having you prosecuted for fraud. Nowhere did I say that they would be suing anyone. Reading comprehension really helps, if you want to reply with any intelligence. Unless 911 is now charging thousands of dollars to send police officers to your location to file a report.
Why am I thinking(or at least hoping) we are going to be enjoying a demo of the game at home, that has a 24 hour in game timer, allowing gamers to do what they want to do in those 24 hours... but at the end, boots them back to the title screen. Though, allowing them to play for another 24 hours and go off in other directions and do what they want. The kicker, is its not 24 hours of real time, but game time. Sped up, giving gamers 30-60 minutes of actual play time per session. Something to wet...
While the differences are nice between this gen and last... What these pictures end up doing more for me is showing how incredible last generation versions of this game looked for the hardware they were running on. To know that they were using 16 times less memory than what we have now and it still looks comparable. Just amazing!
This is something that has plagued the industry for quite some time now. You want to get info about your game out there to build hype and momentum up until launch, but how much info is too much? I feel the press and game companies overexpose their titles to the point of feeling like we have played and beat them, 6 months before launch. Destroying any mystique and therefore that kid at christmas feeling when you play. Because developers tend to show pics and videos from every level, you dont ...
