I don't agree with this. I think Mark Wahlberg suits the role well. He is a very talented, multifaceted actor that a lot of people don't give credit to. Yet is believable in pretty much any role he plays. He can do comedy, drama, action or romance. It helps that he already looks like Nathan Drake. As far as being too old, that is what makeup artists are for. He is right. Hollywood wants numbers before the first scene is shot, because these days.... One tech heavy film can destroy the ...

I dig Mario in a more realistic setting. Looks incredible. Nintendo needs to take notice.

I, like others, am appalled by the actions of not only Activision but Bungie. As someone else said, it takes two to tango. While Bungie may have signed the contract, they need to stand up to the publisher and say enough is enough before their reputation is ruined permanently. Though I'm starting to think Activision is actively trying to ruin their reputation, so they destroy the company and can pick through the pieces of the best developers in it, when they fall. Putting the blame squarel...

Its not much better in the US. With my 150mbit internet, I usually get anywhere from 100k to 2 MB a second. Its pathetic, given the size of their company. What I believe they ought to do is give major ISPs their own servers, that way PSN users can download directly from their ISP and not Sonys servers themselves. It would be faster and eliminate the bottlenecks. Then Sony can push all new content to ISP servers and users PS4s can connect to their nearest server within their own ISPs network. ...

I agree. Looks much better without it. Hopefully, this will be brought to their attention and maybe they can give gamers the ability to turn it off. I know they think they are adding atmosphere, but they are really just obscurring what is a gorgeous looking game.

What I feel is that all they've shown to do in that massive world is a handful of tasks. Mining, flying, flight and ground combat and exploration. The problem is, as massive as the universe is, will that get old to anybody playing it for more than 10 hours or 20 hours?

Sure, we havent seen a ton of gameplay, but everything we have seen has been the same. Which is what worries me the most. As I said, I'm buying this purely from the standpoint of exploration. Though I ...

Im hoping youre right. But, I think they need to relay that to gamers pre-launch. Its not me they have to impress, Im buying it just to explore... Its the millions of other gamers who may be scratching their heads, wondering what they are seeing.

Sean should never be on stage talking about this game. I'm not even sure he knows what he's making, as he can't put to words what he is thinking in a way that people can understand. Still to this day, nobody knows what this game is. All we know is that you have a spaceship and you can fly anywhere on to any planet and explore and shoot ships that I'm guessing just explode at some point in time, because I didnt see any shots doing any damage where they were hitting.

Any open world game, I generally spend the first 10 to 20 hours exploring. I would love to start on Fallout 3, but I'm in the middle of Witcher 3 now and it is sucking up all of my time. I have quite the backlog to finish before this game comes out. We have so many great games coming out this fall. I have a feeling that gamers around the globe are going to be collectively cashing in a lot of vacation time and sick days at work. LoL.

Looks so good. This will be my first Fallout game. I always meant to play them, just never got around to it. This looks like a hell of a jumping point, though. November cant come fast enough. Next gen finally feels like its here, starting with The Witcher 3 and culminating in a grand finale this holiday season.

Then, we get what will seem like Christmas #2 in Morpheus and games like Eve, in 2016. Cant wait to see what Nintendos next machine is like, also. It will be one hell ...

i'm hoping that some of these textures and animations are placeholder and early, because I thought it was actually last gen footage. Hopefully we'll see better footage at E3. I just hope they don't rush this game out to make the Christmas rush. I'd like to see a proper next gen rally game.

Screenshots of a dinosaur game, that have no dinosaurs in them(unless you squint in the last shot). How about you post some pictures of Madden, that show the parking lot outside one of the stadiums... LoL.

Exactly. No real world testing to prove that it's faster than your typical router. That and Im not sure I want my PSN downloads coming from a bittorent server, where people could easily manipulate what you are downloading. Opening your system and network up to DOS attacks.

Until somebody like Tom's hardware does the real world testing on this, Ill take this 'review' as advertisement.

This review is flawed, because he didn't try alternate 3.5" drives to note whether or not the change in load times was relegated to his original swap drive or the data bank itself. Trying multiple 3.5" drives would've eliminated the unknown and given a more accurate review. He also couldve tried SSHD drives, which shouldve sped up the loading process for any game. If not, then there is a true issue with the drive interface of the data bank. But, because of his vague review, ...

This is what I was thinking when I saw this. Its Sonys answer to Horizon, with vehicles and racing not traditionally associated with the Gran Turismo series. Could be awesome, if done right. E3 cant come fast enough!

If you love those games, you're going to love this one even more. It is the best open world RPG, I feel, that has ever been made. The visuals are so good, they suck you into the world. You learn to care for the characters and your actions affect everything from story, to the game world and on a superficial level. It makes you feel like each action you are making in the game has consequences, both good and bad. No other game before this one went so deeply into story interaction. In Oblivio...

Pete Hines is one of the best in the biz and doesnt let public opinion sway the companies artistic vision. When you do that, you end up spending more time making naysayers happy and less on the game you set out to make. The trailer looked great, in my opinion, and the visuals looked good. People are judging the book by its cover without knowing its content. The fact is, noone knows just how big of an area we will be playing in and just how interactive everything is.

I say, wa...

Yes! I love these games. Was disappointed when it released in Japan and we heard nothing of a US release. Glad its finally making its way over. Cant wait to play it!

If youve never played one of the EDF games before, think of it as a shoot em up in 3D, with hundreds of enemies that each fill the screen. You have hundreds of weapons to unlock and kill them with. There are also vehicles you can use to help you traverse the 100 or so huge, varied landscapes, tired of playing alo...

Great review. This games reviews really show who likes sims and those who dont, as they vary greatly. I grew up loving MULE, Sim City, Railroad Tycoon, Transport Tycoon and anything that allowed me to manipulate my own company or city. This game is right up my alley, as Ive always admired farmers and the Amish, for the thankless hard work they do every day to bring food to their own and our tables.

Im buying the game because of your review. Thank you.
