Why would we apologize to them? GTA V is not a UBisoft game. This just shows that a game that looks better than assassins creed unity, can run at 1080p and 30 frames per second and also include first and third person views along with more things to do in the world. Not to mention, AI that actually reacts to the players actions and doesn't just slide out of the way.

I highly doubt that UBisoft will put out anything that comes close to the visual fidelity and interactivity ...

this does explain a lot, but doesn't excuse anything. I feel for those who want to play online. I've enjoyed the single player game, but can understand if you bought it to play online you must be furious. I'm furious for you. I just feel this is a mistake that never should've happened, especially with the game that Sony was banking on for sales during the holiday season. That should've been tested and tested again internally and externally before they released it. If it ne...

This looks like the Friday The 13th game everybody has been waiting for, forever. I expect Tom Savini may run into some legal issues with whoever owns Friday the 13th now, which I think is partially Universal and partially paramount. This looks extremely close to the story and atmosphere, probably too close for comfort for those studios who own the copyright. This may be Savini's way of getting them to let him do a Friday the 13th game... Or just his attempt at capturing the atmosphere an...

When will PC users recognize that consoles arent using the same straightforward hardware that PCs are. Everything in these consoles is geared towards games. They are optimized for one thing and one thing only. You can't compare a PS4 and a PC graphics card, because a PS4 is using added extensions and proprietary functions specifically geared towards games. Not to mention, the system has a little over 6 GBs worth of (open and useable)DDR5 to work with, something very few PC graphics cards ...

Valve is my favorite developer. Ive been gaming since the Pong days and Half Life 2 was the first game to elicit true emotional response from me. Something I thought about when I wasnt playing. Hopefully, one day, we will see a sequel... Though, I am more than content going back and playing Half Life 2 all over again and reliving the fantastic experience I had the first time around.

Always looked like a cool game. Would love to play it.

Awesome to hear. Genesis was one of my most anticipated titles at PS4 launch. It was sad to see it go dark for so long, with no mention from the developer. I'm glad a game in the Primal Carnage universe is finally getting made. It should be a blast to play. Can't wait!

I don't know why they feel the need to update in one big spot. I can understand people not wanting to update every week, but since the PS4 updates itself in the background, let users choose the time(via the system menu) they dont use the system and it will just be there when they wake up, come home from work, etc... work on one feature, then roll it out. Then work on the next feature and roll it out. Don't wait for one big update, just roll it out when it's ready. Like DLNA and Su...

Heres a question, if you preorder the digital version, do you get access to the soundtrack via download? I dont see the soundtrack listed on Sonys store as pre order bonus material. Thats why I ask.

I think this makes a lot of sense. Take the OSD, and throw it on the controller. Your health, amo, etc... You then have no distractions on screen. Since most people hold the controller within their peripheral vision, taking your eyes off the screen shouldnt be an issue.

It could be used for all sorts of information. RPGs could use it for inventory and quick equipment changes. FPSs, for health, ammo, kills, level, etc... Football, for play calling, down, player info... Racing...

I don't think people want new IP's to fail, they just don't give them any slack. It seems the mindset nowadays is everything has to be perfect day and date of release and if it's not then it's time to take to the Internet, grab a bunch of like-minded gamers and systematically destroy that new IP.

As these game systems become more more complex, therefore making development of the games for those systems more and more complex… Developers are running into unf...

I think it varies where you live. It is generally around 3 to 4 PM here on the East Coast of USA. This game does look like it would be a lot of fun. I haven't played something like this in a while. Since the last Dynasty Warriors I played on the Xbox 360. I may give this a shot.

It's good to see there are still some people who enjoy print publications. I do also, it's enjoyable to just sit down in a chair and read about your hobby without the involvement of technology. Call it reminiscing, or whatever you want… But I love to do it.

I've thought about ordering the UK edition of PlayStation magazine, though it's a bit pricey to get delivered over here. To the tune of I believe, $120 a year. Right now, I get Game Informer, Xbox Magazine ...

You and I both. Not many US gaming magazines still around, in print form. Game Informer, Xbox and EGM are some of the very few left.

Septic, I can see where you're coming from, though we have to look at it from the developers perspective. This is a new IP. Each car takes six months of man-hours to develop. I think they took on a lot for a racing game that features real life cars. I think they got wrapped up in the technology and wanted to deliver a gorgeous game, which they did, but it was at the cost of doing a proper beta to make sure the servers were functioning. The game sold really well on its first day, to the tu...

This is the best way Ive seen the game described. The engine running the game is incredible and looks capable of great things... The chasis is classic, Ridge Racer like, and while there is some charm for the right person... It isnt for everybody. It seems like racing games that are stuck between sim and arcade, rarely break through to the masses. What is there in the game is fun, but you have to want to play a classic kind of racer. RidgeRacer is the best way to describe it, as it has everyth...

I own a lot of Interplay stock(Bought it in hopes they were going to make a comeback) and have been sitting on it for years. Im not quite sure what they are doing. I think whoever bought the company, is sitting on the name and the IPs waiting for someone to make them an offer for everything. They have some awesome games and they are missing the boat on remakes, at the very least. Games like Descent and Freespace would be incredible to rerelease using todays technology. That would open the do...
