Here's a notion for all of those parents complaining… Actually parent your kids and limit what they can play or watch and let the adults make choices of their own. I understand it's easier to set your kid in front of the TV or computer, then to teach them anything… Because you're so busy texting and going to the gym and getting your nails done. anything and everything but parenting your own children. When something goes wrong you have to blame it on the media and the world around ...
I noticed some of these people are using credit cards to purchase these systems. Once Walmart catches on, you will easily be tracked and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for fraud. Don't think Walmarts not above doing that. Especially when it comes to them losing money over scammers.
Just a heads up, in case you are thinking of trying it. Im sure Walmart is on to it now and will send an alert out to all of their stores to alert security if someone tries to pass...
Funny stuff. Thank you for posting. Cant wait to dig into it myself, after I finish Advanced Warfare.
I agree with others here, but will add that each account has got to have an account number… Why not tie the account to the number and allow people to block that number permanently so they couldn't be griefed? So it wouldn't matter if they change their name, the account number would still be the same and you would know who they were no matter how many times they changed it.
You could also put an Asterix by somebody's name for 90 days, giving players the ability to ...
I can't believe it's been a year already. It was the first midnight launch I ever went to for any system... and i've been around for every system launch(back to the Pong units). This Christmas, we are getting some great games to end the year with and show off the power of the system. Games like GTA V and Dragon Age, first attempts at next gen visuals, that make what is to come unimaginable... Because they already look so good.
Happy B Day PS4 and thank you for bri...
Yep. This game looks so incredible. The lighting, the texture work, the lack of aliasing, the lack of pop in, incredible shadows and reflections... It's just amazing what they are pulling off with this title. And this is their first attempt on next generation machines. Can't wait to see what they do with the next Red Dead or GTA from the ground, up.
I've been trying to dwindle down my backlog, so I can dedicate all of my time to this title for the next few months....
in this day and age there is no excuse for blunders when it comes to videogames and the communities they support. Because developers are in direct contact with the very people that buy their games and have the ability to ask the community what they want and what they don't.
Obviously, Ubisoft feels it knows more what the community wants, than the community itself. It's pure arrogance and has nothing to do with the budget. They just want to sell post launch DLC. Otherw...
I absolutely love that people are still programming these great computers and classic consoles to this day. I used to love coding for the Commodore Vic 20 and 64. Awesome stuff! Keep up the great work.
I can't imagine Bethesda would put the resources behind a reboot, because they're supposedly working on a new Fallout, which should be debuted at Sony's conference or The Game Awards coming up here soon. All the more power if they do it, because I never played it. I did play Oblivion for over 120 hours... And I imagine I'm going to play GTA V around the same, if not more.
I do agree with others, that I would rather see new games come out. I understand it in th...
I got an early copy of the PS4 version and it is a technical mess. Pop up, LOD draw in, clipping, animation glitches, framerate issues at 15-30 fps, v sync seems dynamic with tearing happening when action heats up. It is a mess and is a laughable attempt at next gen visuals. Obviously not optimized whatsoever. I dont think any amount of patches will fix all of these issues.
They take you out of the game and keep you from enjoying it. Without them, it would be a decent looking...
Thanks for the code! Cant wait to play the new beta and see what has changed for the better.
Yeah, I'm not sure about the author of this article, but I've never played GTA V before and I'm going to spend 100% of my time in first person. I may experiment with going to third in cover, but that will be the only time.
GTA V in first person is my dream game. Combining almost every genre I love under one roof.
Terrible article. The Vita is an awesome machine that Sony just needs to push more. With some great first party titles and more third party support, it would be a hit. The price needs to drop to $99 to get undeniable market penetration, to attract more developers and therefore, more gamers.
At $99-$129, it is in impulse buy range. Remote Play and PS Now is icing on the cake, allowing gamers to take the best of Sonys 4 consoles, plus handhelds, with them... anywhere they go.
I think the problem is, World War I wasn't as memorable a war for America for some reason. People know World War II and the Civil War, because they are jammed down your throat in history classes across the nation, while World War I is sort of skimmed over.
I welcome any history lessons wrapped up in a game. It's funny, the older you get, the more you want to learn about things you had no interest in when you were going to school. I loved the History Channel games last...
Wow! That is how you do a remaster. Less than two weeks, my friends. Cant wait!
In the words of the immortal Daniel Bryan, Yes! Yes! Yes! Any game that takes place in World War II, with today's visuals would be a welcome treat. Id even welcome a remaster of Call Of Duty 2, just to wet my appetite.
While you're at it, make a Civil War game also. Open world would be nice, so we can experience all of the battles up and down the East Coast.
The only kicker is, it would have to have an incredible single player campaign that lasts mor...
i seriously started tearing up. This is the game Ive drempt about, since I was a kid playing Pong in the 70s. I cant believe its soon reality. Thank you Rockstar.
I think they knew if they went first person with this, they would kind of corner the market. Not only do they have a crazy good third person, Hollywood-like action game... Now they have one hell of a first person shooter, something that competes with every game on the market. Call Of Duty, Battlefield Hardline, even Ace Combat, Forza Horizon, ATV and Skyrim(in a modern way).
The crazy thing is, competing with those games is only a download away. They can go crazy with DLC, ma...
Thanks for a great hands on. I enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait to play this game.
I applaud you for actually taking part in your childs life and trying to do whats right. I agree that it is damn near impossible to shield them from everything, as it is everywhere. You just have to do your best and hope it is enough. Unfortunately, you are in the minority and most choose to let society raise their kids, because they are too busy to care. Putting themselves first, children second.
Again, mad props for being a proactive parent. Its people like you who can make...
