Yea, looks incredible. The fact that they were able to get very close to a high end PC, speaks wonders to the team. It amazes me how anyone can gripe about a downgrade, when the game looks as good as it does. Especially given the amount of space gamers get to explore.

The scary part is, its only going to get better from here on out. Cant imagine how good things will look in the next 3 years or so.

Luckily, I've only bought one season pass so far this generation and I felt ripped off with it. That being Watchdogs. Now, I take a wait and see approach. Because a lot of these developers are releasing suits of armor and meaningless crap that adds nothing to the game. Anyway, I feel, that season passes are only worth it... if they add levels to the game to extend its gameplay. DriveClub and Dying Light are good examples of meaningful season pass purchases. Where developers are keeping ...

I loved the original game, but this is becoming a Half Life like urban legend. Every few years it's being worked on and it is going to come out soon, yet nothing ever surfaces. I pray that he really is working on it and releases it and it's everything that the first game was and more. I think, at the very least, he should start crowdfunding for the game. If it's a monetary issue, that would solve all of his problems, because you know people would give millions to make this game h...

I agree. This game definitely would be a great 4-6 player co-op experience. Having a group of your friends help take down a mastodon, feed & cloth the village and build new weapons and shelter... would be a blast.

I'm actually relieved. That way the attention isn't split and the focus can be on the story and gameplay. Making the single player experience all it can be. Some games are great for multiplayer, some not. This seems like the perfect single player experience. Something out of the box and fresh. This and Horizon are near the top of my most wanted list. Cant wait to play them both.

Any word on a western localization and release?

Looks incredible. Im hoping this gets a US release ASAP. If not, I may be importing this.

Considering most PC graphics cards only have 2 to 4 GB of memory, I think 8 GB is more than enough. The CPU power is where the systems may struggle. But, that is why Sony gave access to another CPU core. I wouldn't doubt seeing Sony raise the CPU speed to at least match that of the Xbox in the future, also. I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong on my information, that the CPU cores of the PS4 can be theoretically raised to 2.75 GHz. (See: 3680d ago 3 agree4 disagreeView comment

Agreed. Though, I think Tomb Raider took its lineage from the movie also. I love both games. They play out like interactive movies. Both of the games are why action titles exist in their current form. They both have established and continuously raised the bar for the genre. Making everything that came before them feel antiquated.

Watching the latest videos from Uncharted 4, makes me very excited for the genre. It also makes me question how a game like this would play in VR. <...

Yes, but they could do something as simple as Unraveled or adding a subtitle to it like Unravel: A Tale Of Yarn(as the article suggests)... It just depends on if anyone already has the patent for the name, for a game. It comes out in a few weeks, so I hope the game isnt delayed because of it. Their best bet would be to buy the patent from the holder. Though, that could end up costing them more than its worth. The good thing is, this game is digital only. I can only imagine the hellstorm if th...

They are just doing this now? A few weeks from release? How could they not have known this in the concept stage? Seems like a horrible oversight. Regardless, it ultimately doesnt matter what they call it. It looks incredible. They can call it:

String
Yarn
The Magnificent Adventures of Unravel

Regardless of its name, I cant wait to play it.

So, they admit that they lied about all the boroughs being included?

From Ubisofts site, still listed: http://tomclancy-thedivisio...

"From the backstreets and alleys to the avenues and landmarks, all of New York City is a battleground. It’s time to take it back."

Which counties and boroughs make up New York City?

New York City...

Exactly what I was thinking. Didn't Ubisoft say that all Boroughs would be in? I was looking forward to exploring the intricacies of each and exploring my own birth place, being Brooklyn.

The only way that Manhattan works is if you can go into hundreds of different buildings. Allowing players to claim their own home(base) and fortify it, so noone else breaks in to steal your stuff or tries to take it from you. Though, Im sure that wont be the case and we will nly be able ...

I agree, it has that Tomb Raider vibe set in an earlier time period. The fact that it spans three games worth of material, makes me think it will be fairly long. From the pictures, the visuals look nice. I just wish they would've given more info on the gameplay. I'm going to do some googling and see what this game is all about.

I like that we are seeing a lot of independent developers releasing high-quality titles across all platforms. Independent developers are willin...

Im going to take a stab and say that there will be a few SKUs. One with the PSVR alone @$299 & one with a camera and two move controllers @ $399. I wouldnt doubt seeing a bundle including a PS4 system entering the fray @ $599-$649.

As far as games, I think the system sellers will be No Mans Sky, Eve, Driveclub VR(free patch for those who already own it), Ace Combat 7 & I wouldnt be surprise to see Gran Turismo VR be a launch title and possibly included with the/ a bun...

I dont think the technology is unlike that of which most TVs already accomplish. Upscaling 30 & 60hz input to 500+ hz in many cases. Though every TV Ive seen with this tech in tow, suffers from soap opera effect. That makes the picture have that live, almost 80s camcorder look to it. Which is my only worry with the upscaling. Though if it is present I dont think its much of an issue, as I havent heard anyone who has tried the VR complain about it.

I think, in the PSVRs ca...

My biggest issue with any of the sticks that have been released in the past five years, is where is the force feedback? One of my favorite experiences, playing a flight combat game years ago, was that of playing flight combat games with a Microsoft sidewinder force feedback stick. Which pulled the stick from side to side and vibrated it, giving you the illusion that you could feel everything that was happening to that aircraft. Whether it be incoming gunfire or an engine malfunction, you fel...

I don't agree that we are at diminishing returns yet. There are still many things that need to be improved with the games we play, beyond visuals. There is always going to be a new effect to try to get us closer to photorealistic. The day that everything in the game world behaves physically like real-world objects and we can talk to in-game characters and have meaningful conversations with them and have them respond in kind and remember the player the next time they meet, the day that eve...

If you read further into this article, he goes on to say that the reason he thinks that the console sales numbers are going to dwindle over the next two or three console generations is because, like wordprocessor software, you only need a machine so fast to use it. He equates this to being the same as games as he doesn't feel there is a reason to upgrade the consoles any further because games are at their peak and don't need to be any better.

I'm pretty sure this ...

Cant wait! Hopefully, we will get a mix of urban to mountains, etc... Would be cool to see the city from afar, then drive in it, through it and on to greener pastures.

As someone else mentioned, this is this generations PGR.
