While there have been a few standouts this gen, for the most part its true. As someone else said, this gen has been a graphically shinier version of last gen. No, or vey little, advancement in AI or Physics. We are still shooting the same enemies in the face, because we have no other way to take them out. Had physics and AI gotten the boost that graphics did(which was impossible due to the weak CPUs used) then we could have been shooting statues on top of buildings that fell and hit a car bel...

I loved the first game on the 360, but after seeing hours of gameplay from E3... Im no longer interested. It looks exactly like the first game, with few changes. Which is a shame, as I was looking forward to it before E3. I would say, the game that would have me the most excited for buying an X, would be one that was already released. Dead Rising 4. Hopefully it gets the same 4K treatment as Forza, with 4K textures and a ton of effects, with HDR. I have always loved that game.

Thats exactly what I thought this game looked and played like. I dont have an Xbox yet this gen, so this is going to give me my fix until the X comes out, then I will enjoy owning two different consoles for the first time in gaming history(the Pro and X). Cant wait!

A well deserved accolade for such a well crafted game. Anyone out there who played remembers Arcades, Pong and the 2600, can you believe we are playing games like this now? I still remember seeing Dragons Lair and Star Wars in the arcade for the first time and thought it could never get better. The future looks so bright, we gotta wear shades.

Man, do I wish Crimson Skies would get a remake. Along with Conker and Kameo. Loved those games.

Another PS4 owner here. I love the power behind the X, as said above... the lack of AAA first party games to take advantage of that power is the main issue. Microsoft didnt do themselves any favors in the conference either, by showing Forza, Crackdown and Sea Of Thieves... which people already have seen. Not a mention of Halo, Gears or anything enticing other than Third Party games, which all looked good.

Im going to buy one for Forza and to play the already released titles...

This game looks awesome. Reminds me a lot of Crackdown, which is a good thing. I spent hundreds of hours playing it.

I love games like this. Looks like Carmageddon meets Wreckless, meets MMO. Ill try it, though Im not going to pump money into it if it turns out to be more pay to win than Gaijin is saying. I love War Thunder and have spent money playing it... if this games upgrades are done like that, then I wont have a problem spending a few bucks here and there.

We will see Tuesday, when it releases. Im hoping for Pro support out of the gate. War Thunder just got a Native 4K patch and it...

Like you, Im very hopeful... but cautious in my optimism. Wildlands had really dynamic AI that would track you down, but not automatically know where you are. They would search and try to scare you out of hiding. Work together to flush you out. So, Im guessing that they are adapting this same AI, but storing your actions as keywords for NPC reaction.

Ive wondered for years why developers didnt use text files for AI. It basically allows them to learn from your actions by sto...

It's hard to get or stay excited for this game, as I feel like a rat in a maze who finds the cheese, then the scientist whos controlling the experiment keeps moving the cheese to the end of another maze each time I find it. Never getting a bite of it, just a chance to look at it every once in a while.

Would love to see 1440p @ 60fps, as I feel its the sweet spot for a nice kick in visuals and performance.

Im very impressed with Ubisoft on this game. It just keeps on giving. I wish they would offer up more boroughs to explore and play in. Id rather have them continually update and upgrade this game, than to make a sequel.

This is my most wanted upcoming game. It truly seems like a survival game done right. I love that you can pull paets off of cars and machinery, in order to make other objects. I also love the amount of freakers on screen at once... and that is only one type of enemy we know of. I like that vehicles play a major role in getting from A to B, but need maintenance in order to get there. Finding gas and parts to keep it on the road, will be a gameplay element all in itself.

Just...

Im kind of in the middle with The Order. I can see what it did right and where it could have gone, but the gameplay was its biggest weakness. It was, for lack of better words, generic and derivitive of games made back in the 3DO era. It was basically one step away from an interactive movie game, like Night Trap. Now, that being said... what was there, was really good and a great foundation for a future with the franchise. I could see an Assassins Creed like game blossoming from out of the cin...

Ive been playing games since the beginning. From Pong until now. Have played every genre and every type. Open world games give players the freedom to play the way they want to, as opposed to being led around by the nose. I understand both sides of the issue, a more contained experience allows developers to tell a movie like, linear story. While open worlds allow for a more varied, player led experience. Most open world games do a good job of telling a story, though it's up to the player t...

I agree. While I love looking at 4K, some games like this feel better at 60fps... due to the sheer amount of action happening at any one time. Cant wait to play it!

Ill take everything on your list, especially Condemned, and add Daytona USA and Full Auto. Id take an Afterburner game, also, as long as its done like Ace Combat.

Condemned was incredible. I still remember starting the game on the 360 and sitting there staring at the police tape for 10 minutes thinking the game froze, because it looked so real. Then, watching a criminal run past me and grab a pipe off the wall and come after me with it was one of the scariest moments I had...

There are currently 87 games that have Pro support. How anyone can say that developers arent taking advantage of it, Ill never know. That is within the first 6 months of its release... by the end of the year, there will be more than a hundred. Some... like Spiderman, GT Sport, Days Gone, etc... are being built ground up, with the Pro in mind.

I think Scorpios release is only going to help get more developers on board with Pro support, because they will have 2 systems to upg...
