Jesus, stop being such a biased fanboy. If you havent paid attention to this game in the past few years, it needs monster specs to even run at 1080p( it runs at 900p on the PS4 and 720p on the One, 1080p/ 30 on the Pro with medium settings) It has massive world simulation, along with hundreds of creatures and npcs to account for... not to mention weather and time of day. The fact that this can run at 1440p/ 30 with PCs high settings on this machine is amazing, 1080p/ 60 is downright incredibl...
I agree with all below. The fact is... Sony can play the waiting game with the X, because they are so far ahead in sales. The Pro is a good midwife in between the base hardware and the X. Offering great performance at a great price, with the best and most extensive offering of first party titles. Sony can watch how the X sells and make an informed decision how to move ahead from there. While Im sure the PS5 is already mostly designed, I think the CPU is the ?. While the X is more powerful, t...
Agreed. I first got introduced to this series when I saw it on sale for the Vita on PSN. I had always heard good things about it, so I tried it and loved it. I really like the bounty hunter kind of thing amd the wonder and surprise when you first encounter some sort of new beast you never battled before. Every one of them, like a puzzle, to find their weak spots and bring them down so you can cut off their head to get your reward. While also getting useful items from the corpse.

It seems Microsoft is being pretty proactive about getting native support directly in most of the game engines on the market, like Unreal Engine 4 and more... which means developers can simply take what theyve done on PC, push the X as far as they can(like using the different settings gamers can turn on and off in the PCs games menu) and then compiling it. Which requires almost no work for them, as all of the textures and assets are already there. Its as easy as picking the best settings they...
Sounds great, though Im a bit concened that they said nothing about Dolby Atmos implementation. That would be incredible for Forza. Have birds, blowing trees, planes, etc... coming out of the atmos height speakers, which would carry over the listeners head... making it feel as if they are truly above the listener, all around them. Atmos is incredible when implemented correctly.
Looks so incredible! Im glad they are using the first three movies as the basis for them. Im hoping we get the death star battle, with the trench. The 1977 version of me, would be creaming his jeans. LoL.
I think, if the 60fps is locked, it would be the much more attractive option. Especially if you could still use the higher resolution textures with it.
It would be cool as hell if it was like the dev kits from the announcement, that had the LCD screen that showed framerates and such. Id pay an extra $50 for it.
Yep. Ill never get the allegiance that the diehard show to a corporation that doesnt give a damn about them(just their money). Its OK to like one thing or another, but to go as far as a lot these crazies do to demean others who dont share their opinion is just disgusting... and shows just how juvenile that some gamers can be, over a piece of plastic that has no real bearing over anything.
Peace, love, health and happiness... everything else means nothing.
Agreed. It truly looked like a remake or remaster, from the all of the E3 footage. Like they just made a new city, but kept the original gameplay without changing much of anything. Like you, I loved the original... though, it definitely needs some more gameplay hooks. Im hoping the delay helps make a better game and it just doesnt delay what could have been.
So much for a good X launch. Forza is one of the few titles that's truly going to show its power. Its making me reconsider my launch day purchase. May wait until spring, if at all, to purchase it. Sony truly has an open door to show the PS5 in between now and Spring, if they do... even if it launches at the end of 2018 or 2019, it will definitely throw some salt in the wound of Microsofts lack of and total disregard for first party titles. Like them or not, it is a way to draw people in a...
Its nuts that Sony is close to doubling Microsofts sales every month this year, so far. It will be interesting to see what effect the X will have and if Microsoft can manufacture enough of them to make up the difference. With the FCC thing taking as long as it did, Im wondering if that will also have any affect. I think their biggest hurdle is convincing gamers to go back and play through games theyve already beaten, to see the difference the X makes... since they will make up the majority of...
I remember the originals original trailer. It is an open world Baha game with a huge amount of map space from Mexico to California, if I remember correctly, and it looked and played phenomenal when they released it last gen. It kind of fell of deaf ears, though, sales-wise, due to it being sandwiched between so many other great racers... like, Forza and GT. Hopefully it gets the respect it deserves thismtime around. It was a lot of fun!
Awwesome! They have a buyer here. I love space combat games, Im surprised they didnt do this earlier, as it wouldve introduced a hell of a lot more players to the game and sold a lot more copies.
This idea that they shouldve waited is BS! They are a tiny studio who was nearing bankruptcy making this game, they released it because they needed the money to continue with production of this game and ensure the future of the studio. Without releasing this game when they did... the studio may have closed, or even worse, they may have taken on a partner who never wouldve allowed the support they are giving players for free.
People just love to hate.
Obviously its out of Microsofts control... as, what kind of sense does it make to limit the potential sales and your ability to forcast interest? They need to get it squared away soon, or preorders are going to be the least of their worries.
And yet, still no mention of a Pro or X patch.
Its about time that the lighting caught up to modern technology. Its been a sore point for the past 15 years. Now, it gives the game a more realistic look and feel. Blends the players and the turf, so they dont look as if they are part of two different plains. The same can also be said for the crowd and stadium. Making it so that one doesnt stand out from the other, like a cohesive unit. Cant wait to play it, I am a bit miffed that weather changes didn't make it in to this years game. Im ...
The game looked gorgeous, though I think the concept behind it was a bit far fetched and uninteresting to gamers. I guess they thought they could make their own Minecraft and unfortunately, I think gamers already had their fill. It didnt help that Sony kind of kept its launch hush, hush and did the same with any updates. RIP Tomorrow Children.
I really hope this gets an X upgrade at true 4K and 60fps with 4K textures and ridiculous amounts of destruction. This game looks like it would be a blast online! give me a destruction derby with 32 or 64 players... how much fun would that be?
The fact that they are going to continue making new cars and tracks and adding features long after launch, makes me very happy. An endless supply of destruction derby greatness coming our way!
Id love to see these ...
