Positive or negative doesn't matter. The reason behind it matters. What he said is very vague and knowing modern journalist who give broken shit 6-8.... I don't trust them.
If only modern journalists could be trusted.
Not everyone gives into the human nature of "fear of missing out"
LMAO.... The original commentor's words rung hollow on this dude.
Actvision has been doing shit worse than this since (If not before) the start of this gen.
I don't mind people disliking a game, but when the reason is stupid, that's when I get triggered.
Yes. It is the most accessible Witcher among all.
This is one moronic piece of journalistic crap if I have ever seen one. Apart from being redundant, all arguments that we already have seen in the past.
Comparing Witcher 3 (An open world) combat to Dark Souls (An almost Metroidvania'esque world) combat is just the start. Complaining about complexity of combat? Typical 2019 journalist. All you gotta do is make potions, apply oils and look for other weaknesses.
Side quests complaining? AAAAA.... Someo...
I agree with eerything you said up until the point of PS5 cannibalising PC sales. People who want to get it for PC will get it for PC simply because of the flexibility the game will have with dynamic hardware. They could play it on today's potato and tomorrow's super-rigs.
Hopefully it is optimized well.
Or tEA
Talk about bad dialogue writing....
Feels like tons of wasted potential of Conan's humor.
Back in 2010, the design template wasn't used by every open world game, so you need to take that into consideration. I don't consider AC Brotherhood (Or any previous AC game) some kind of masterpiece, but they had something new. Odyssey and Origins are just bland rehashes of the most popular trends in gaming to serve the lowest common denominator. Not to mention, Ezio's story and character was far more engaging than any of the buffoons in Odyssey (Waaaa faux dialogue trees) and th...
More like, I am done explaining why cookie-cutter game design shouldn't be lauded as fantastic. Not to mention breaking the legacy of the franchise by shoving RPG mechanics into the mix (Destroyed hidden blade's purpose and that's just the start)
If you think Odyssey was fantastic, I have nothing to say.
So your lack of enthusiasm for a franchise/medium should be an excuse for devs to make same games year after year.... OK
Divinity is not made by Obsidian?
Obsidian made Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny.
The Outer Worlds is the Fallout: New Vegas 2 that we never got because Bethesda had a cntract that said Obsidian needed NV to score 85 on metacritic to be in contract with them.
Gosh how people are misinformed.
All Soulsborne games are RPGs.
FarCry 4 was basically FarCry 3. Origins was basically the cookie cutter design of modern 'faux' RPGs. Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2 are games with half baked ideas shoved in Ubisoft's open world design and Odyssey is just a grindier version of Origins.
These are just reskinned games. They aren't anything new compared to what we had last gen. And they are bad at what they do. Not to mention these games are unoptimized as hell for the low quality of content tha...
Dammit.... Used bad pun for Division 2.
Nonetheless, Ubisoft already closed shop on their creative side years ago.
Ahhh... The oversmart reply.... Never gets old.
