A PC that is about the same cost might not play the latest games at 4k, but it can still play any game before 2022 while allowing you to upskill yourself and have jobs!

Implying that the industry hasn't already shrunk to generic, photorealism chasing, handholding, fetch quest based (or no level/quest design if the game is linear), third person/first person action adventure games.
How do you say complete package when the gameplay is shallow and the writing is meh.
In terms of AAA space, I would say Spiderman has been the complete package. I found Spiderman's writing far more humane and realistic than any other game. At least in terms of Sony exclusives.
Obviously, there are many better games in the indie space, but I cant expect people to recognize them given their lack of (relative) popularity.

Yeah, having more hardware power has made games shallower. As not a fan of God of War, the older God of Wars had better combat mechanics and I have no idea why that couldn't be carried over to the newer ones.
