It's not that I love MS... It's that I like Sony less.

Sony has been to Redmond to look at Hololens too, and Phil didn't say that PSVR is great. Try reading the article.

I posted above too, but search "Microsoft Samsung QLED" on youtube. The first video, the guy with the blue suit, shows the renders for Scorpio at the 3:09 mark.

I can't post links or I would.

The external case for Scorpio is going to look like an XB1S mated with an OG Xbox, sporting a raised X over its surface and an Xbox jewel in the middle. They revealed their renders at the Samsung QLED event a few weeks back. They showed the console in black, white, and brushed aluminum.

Go to Youtube and search "Microsoft Samsung Qled", it's in the first video (guy with the blue suit) at the 3:09 mark.

Long winded, but no explanation of what Turn 10 means when they say making Scorpio games will make XB1 games look better? MS is also saying during interviews that they are making Scorpio games now, not Xbox One games. They are making games that are fully utilizing Scorpio while at the same time making XB1 look better.

Your screenshot proves my point, lol! What's next, checkerboarding is better than native 4K?

What do you do at parties, call the police when people there are smoking pot?

Yep, Hollow Knight, if Bioware wanted to know how fans would react all they had to do is listen to us when we complained about ME3. Ironic that Bioware creates a game trilogy based around a cyclic purge of the galaxy but doesn't understand that history repeats itself.

All System, IMO, the combat sucks. The verticality of the levels ruins the combat scenarios a little bit, and the loss of pausing the combat to make the game turn-based iced the crap cake.

Not with PS4/Pro HW they won't. Maybe if they were using a god PC or Scorpio they would though, because they are talented devs.

I guess you don't understand how MS makes games for Scorpio then. Look at the articles about Scorpio and you'll see that they say they're making Scorpio games now, not Xbox One, and Turn 10 even said that making Scorpio games will help to make Xbox One games look better. MS coined the term forwards compatibility for a reason; FC is about making a game for the highest spec and letting the Feature Level detection determine what HW level the game is running on. This means that Sco...

Also, MS customized the CPU so much they don't even consider it to be Jag anymore, and it looks like the rumors of Vega were at least grounded in reality. It makes sense, since MS built XB1 as a prototype for the PC HW changes that have taken place over the last few years anyways.

Thanks for the cordial reply!

1. Honest question, do you think the Pro, at $400 is okay? I'm curious because you said anything over $300 is unacceptable for a mid gen console, yet even the Pro will still be more than $300 this fall.
4. Traditionally, yes. MS lived up to their promises of Scorpio as a True 4K console though, and MS has now stated that their attention towards OS and HW is being focused on game support. They also recently went to Japan for some...

MS always maintained the Scorpio was part of the XB1 family and it uses the same architecture. I don't even understand why anyone would call it next gen other than sheer performance.

All anybody really has to do is look at the architectural improvements made to the PC industry and it's easy to see how MS was prototyping a massive shift in HW when they designed XB1. PC parts have been adopting a more XB1-like architecture for the last 3 1/2 years. They didn't ...

1. Console at $450 or less.
2. Crackdown 3 launches Cloud-powered online gaming alongside Scorpio this fall.
3. Return to IP from OG Xbox days.
4. Better 3rd party Japanese support.
5. New 1st party studio acquisition.

Games are going to sell the console, and with MS actually exceeding their Scorpio promises I can only assume that their promise of a focus on games is genuine as well.

You can't even tell us why you need to get to the dashboard anymore. Typical prick, running your mouth off at Meka like they aren't making sense, when you can't even qualify your own statements. Talk about the subject or GTFO.

Also, learn how to use analogy. Yours sucks.

Turn 10 said coding for Scorpio was going to improve XB1 games too. Go read about it.

Shadow, find me a PC resolution setting that has checkerboarding as an option. Alternatively, would you mind telling me what resolution Forza runs on PC? Isn't it Native 4K on Ultra? If it is, then PC Ultra settings maxed out means Native 4K unless otherwise noted.

Take this with you on the way out... 🥅

Siri and Cortana are good examples of contemporary AI and voice recognition programs and they do reasonably well. Couple that programming with physics-based lighting and geometry and there's nothing devs couldn't realize. Probably not going to happen until 2030 though.
