This is totally off topic:
I'm %100 XB1 and don't personally like Sony, butI didn't come here to bash PS4. I'm actually glad to hear that PS4 is getting more 1st party stuff since having competition is what drove MS to change many of it's ways in the first place. I really just wanted to come in and see what comments are like in a Sony thread.
That said, I'm actually quite jealous of PS4 fans for one thing in particular. It appears that...
Lol! Is your trained eye the one you kept open in your emote, or did you close it to protect it from damage?
If you'd sided with Amita instead of Sabal, the drug sales would have covered it. ;b
Seriously, hats off to these guys for wanting to help!
I grew up on 5200. My friends had 2600, collecovision, and intellivision. I too will be 40... in December. Btw, my mom always kicked my ass in River Raid, lol. No such thing as too old.
At least you knew what I'd alluded to. To me, it was obvious, lol.
I try to be objective here by asking questions to people about the potential use of different parts of XB1 hardware. I never claim to know how much improvement DX12 will offer, I merely talk about an improvement in efficiency coming with DX12 because we don't know by how much yet.
Inevitably I get some offensive troll with 10 bubbles breathing fire about how I'm ignorant and DX12 won't change the hardware and it won't change anything else either. Most of us n...
So long, and thanks for all the fish! ;b
...and he's meaningless within the industry.
Why is it that last gen the PS3 was way more powerful on paper but 360 looked better? Efficiency. Wait until DX12 games are out and then troll. 3rd party PS3 games looked like crap until Sony fixed their API too, or don't you remember?
Everything in this article is obviously false except for the part where PS4 gets better! <sarcasm.>
First of all the guy says performance, not power. Genesis had double the processor speed of SNES, but while it could run more sprites it ran less colors. The dev suggests that XB1 handles filtering better than PS4, but PS4 is better with other things, like resolution.
Second, most people here simply don't want to believe that XB1 performance will change wit...
Sales have been on a decline since Black Ops 1. The horse is beaten, but not quite dead.
God. I forgot about 3. Anything before Modern Warfare is garbage anyways though.
COD's biggest flaw is releasing every year, so no.
Edit: It's also Treyarch's 4th game.
Robot zombies.
What if they're robot zombies?
COD has done it before, like AW's blatent copy of Titanfalls gameplay concept(which they ridiculously claimed was their own idea). This just proves how few original ideas are left for the franchise.
Doom 3 had some intense moments with the whole flashlight/pistol thing and great audio work. Wonder what Doom 4 will bring to the table? Hard to believe Doom 3 was around 15 years ago.
@rainslacker
The thing for me, as a collector, is that at some point no replacement will be available for a proprietary battery. This would mandate a wired connection to the system for the controller to work. AA batteries will still be here 30 years from now.
Yeah, okay. Dragonknight can be an arrogant prick to the whole community and its not immature. God forbid anybody call him out on it though. I get 10 agrees and 1 disagree and get labelled immature. He is an ignorant tool. I gave plenty of evidence to back this up. This site is ridiculous.
The cloud, with anything it processes, can potentially free up local resources for other things. This suggests that it can indirectly affect graphics if a dev chooses to use the cloud in such a fashion.
One example: To bring graphics parity between SP and MP in a game.
