Eventually the game has to ship, and I'm not surprised at the games faults after watching all the pre-release video. The fact that they talked about a sequel before this one shipped was a nail in the coffin for me.

I heard the PS4 version still has framerate issues even after the patch. Was the comparison that was done using this day 1 patch?

XB1 is 4k compliant without restrictions. PS4 can currently output 4k for video only. At any rate, neither needs to upgrade for Netflix.
I always wondered why a game about being an assassin felt more like mass murder. Doesn't a good assassin "silently" kill only the target? I can think of 47 reasons why I'll wait for the real assassin game to return.
How did this get approved? MS didn't brick anything. A MS spokesperson said that the consoles could still be used offline. Even the Kotaku article linked here earlier today updated to reflect this reporting error.

To everyone talking about bricked consoles:
The article has been updated and now states that Microsoft is banning accounts/systems from Xbox Live, not bricking consoles as the title suggests. If someone broke the NDA, MS is simply denying them access to their services. They can still play games offline and the ban may not even be permanent, which seems fair to me.
Hard to call one month a trend or anything, but I can see more and more people buying XB1 when the games are there that people want, and they are coming. I think many people who bought PS4 first will also buy XB1 when the time is right. Too many people are multi-console gamers to ignore this possibility.

Funny thing is that at the console reveals, which were anomolous, MS stated that they themselves would allow for the trade and sharing of games with no fees but left it up to each publisher to decide for themselves how to use the DRM. To me, a repetitive open world game with a 5 hour story and 45 hours of optional filler is still better than a 5 hour game without it. It's fun to go back to a game and still have new stuff to do as long as the combat is engaging. I think open world needs to merge with creative freedom/destruction though. Minecraft on steroids; craft weapons, cars, clothes, buildings and the like but in games more like GTA or Far Cry. Make everything interactive.

I admit that I didn't realize that most of the reviewers got the PS4 version, but you are still assuming the XB1 version will be "much worse" and ignore the PC version as being the best version. I can therefore defend my point because you refuse to look at the situation with any sort of objectivity. If you really need to gloat though, how about you wait to laude your system of choice until you can use all the facts to show why your console version is superior?
Rare has been doing alternative stuff since Nuts and Bolts like the Kinect Sports series. Kameo was a great game and the avatar system was designed by them too. Rare has new games coming and is updating the avatar system for XB1 as well. They're not exactly failing.
Brad Wardell believes SW:E1 level CGI only needs around 50-75k draw calls, something that both consoles can achieve. If he's talking about contemporary CGI then he's probably right about 2 generations away.
Interesting thing about going to 4k is that you really don't need a lot of fltering so it does free up a bit of resources to get to that resolution. If the consoles can hold out like last gen, they may be able to get to 4k by next gen on certain games.
