What's the matter, can't admit that MS is changing?
Yeah, what a total let down that MS only doubled it's portfolio of studios in one year. /s
Get off it already, MS gives more creative freedom to devs than you give them credit for and they continue to improve on this aspect. The studios who signed on are also saying they're comfortable with working for MS because of the freedom they're given.
Considering they're sourced talent from at least the GTA, Hellblade, Battlefield, and MGS devs alongside Playground's own talent, I'd say chances for success are pretty high.
I'm not big into multiplayer. I know my son will love the online portion of FH4, but I'm not convinced that I'll like it as well as the old way, so it's great that they allow gamers freedom of choice (60fps mode on 1X is a nice option too).
I was so nervous that Capcom would screw this one up. Watching the video gives me chills though... it looks fantastic, it's got the right atmosphere, and the right pacing. First RE I'll be playing since Code Veronica on the DC!

- Forza was expected, yes, but what it delivered was not. 72 player online, dynamic weather, dynamic seasons that are even unique year over year, terrain deformation upgrades in muddy and snowy conditions, a 60fps mode, and more.
- Gears 5 seems to be a lot more story driven, which is what MS needs to focus on, right? The combat looks really intense too and that's where the fun is in gaming so gears is pushing both boundaries.

Agreed. I'm not really a fan of what Sony showed but I can definitely see why many would feel that Sony's games look more interesting. They have a broader appeal. All in all, MS did the one thing they really needed to do, which is to show the world that they really are committed to making games (even if their holiday lineup is sparse). Speaking of sparse, wasn't that the moment in time when Sony finally got down to business and pumped out games?

I think it would be a shame to throw away all the work done on the PS4 version just because MS bought Compulsion. I wouldn't expect any MS 1st party studios to make PS4 games though because We Happy Few was always intended to be multiplatform and Minecraft was already released by the time MS bought Mojang.
It was arguably their best!
You said this below, "Only one was established third-party and put out games on platforms other than PC/Xbox. The rest weren't and this doesn't change the landscape at all." To add to that, The Initiative is a brand new studio, the second Playground studio is built from the ground up too, and both Undead Labs and Compulsion are indie studios with the ability to become AAA if they can grow their team effectively with MS' deep pockets.
Also, the 3rd par...
Anyone remember Cookies and Cream for PS2? Man that game was hard.
I'm not sure what you mean.
Halo Infinite To Feel Like A New Adventure & Good Starting Point for Newcomers: Quote, "It will take place after the events of Halo 5 but feel new to new players. Remember how Halo CE woke you up in the middle of a war you had apparently been fighting?"
Everything that happened before Infinity will be equivalent to the years of history that came before the first Halo. Like Halo: Reach was an unknown before ...
From the article, "It will continue the story from Halo 5: Guardians but will be built in a way that makes it a good place to start your first Halo adventure."
Yeah, it does sound like there may be a lot of new ideas brewing with regards to story and perhaps even gameplay.

Meanwhile, in actual reality:
"After Sony launched the PSVR, some publishers added exclusive VR features to their titles, and over 100 games are compatible with the device today. However, many of the better-known titles were also developed for multiple platforms, so the VR features were often considered cool frills instead of essential gameplay components.
Meanwhile, other publishers launched interesting stand-alone PSVR tit...

When did I tell you I bought a 1X? I thought I was talking about studios and games but, for reference, I don't own a 1X and plan on skipping it in favor of their next iteration instead. I don't care that much about graphics as long as the gameplay is fun.

You guys are the ones making excuses... excuses to continue to hate MS. If you're ignorant enough to come into every article about MS and ta...

And you'll never play it clearly because the games can barely run on it. That's why GT Sport looks like an early PS3 game.
Here's the story of PSVR, and it's not really that long:
Sony said VR was great. Sony fanboys believed them. Sony launched VR, it wasn't great, and support all but died because people realize they got ripped off when the vast majority of the games look and play like hot garbage.
Yeah, So Gears 5 for Next holiday and Halo Infinite for 2020.
I'm assuming, from their new console rumors, that Sony's prepping for next gen already so they're not ready to show off their new stuff yet.
