Why are voice commands such a big deal to Amazon, Apple, Directv, etc? People are lazy. Hell, I can even get a washing machine with voice control now.
At any rate, MS is smart enough to realize that 3rd party voice control options will be far more useful than using Kinect or a headset, and voice control isn't a fad... it's literally everywhere.
Phil said that MS is invested in SP games "like Horizon", so I can only assume that they're going SP on this one. They need that more than MP games right now.
LOL, it's so true! I've always been able to take my time as I've played previous Hitman games. Making it episodic only takes away my ability to continue through the story when I want to. Their argument is flawed.
I skipped the first one because of the episodic content delivery too but I keep forgetting to pick it up now that it's complete. At any rate, I'm glad they are going back to the old way of doing things.
I actually agree with you in that Xbox is still financially viable product. I'm one of those Xbox fans who is happy with (enough of) the games MS puts out but I know I'm in the minority. They do need drastic changes to their portfolio of games if they want to start moving consoles again though.

Yeah, it does make a lot of sense because it's the same way movies are made too. The sets should obviously reflect the narrative and work to pull you into the story.

The game was announced four years ago but it was obviously not delayed for four years. The devs didn't spend the entire four years working on the SP either, which isn't even being handled by the same team that is making the MP. Cloudgine was being created alongside the MP from the beginning, so CD3 helped Cloudgine prototype their engine.
