It always makes me laugh when I remember Devil May Cry started off as RE4 but it was decided that the gameplay would be too different for RE fans... then they made 4 the way that they did.
Considering that RE3 takes place congruent to the timeline of RE2, in the same areas of Raccoon City, and it's a bit shorter than 2 was, I'd be interested in seeing Elza shuffled into a REmake of 3 somehow.

No, you're failing to recognize the shortcomings of Sony by saying it's not a bad decision. Locking F2P games behind a paywall is also bad. Like I said, I don't think MS is perfect and can admit it. You, and all your friends, cannot admit that Sony is anything less than perfect.

Duct-taping an extra GPU onto the PS4 certainly won't win the Pro any accolades, that's for sure, which is why it is only a mid-gen system and not the next iteration of the brand like the 1X.

IMO, everything from RE4 on up needs to be scrapped. None of those games ever Felt like a proper RE game. I'm super secited to see how much thought has gone into this remake though; it bodes well for the series making a return to it's gameplay roots where it belongs!
They're clearly setting things up for "Scarlet Enhanced" 1X games. FH4 will run 4K/30 and 60fps at some lower resolution, but when more powerful HW comes along they already have the resolution and FPS to do 4K/60 on the more capable HW. Forwards Compatibility for the win!
Me too. I can see being online with 71 other people getting frustrating at times. Sometimes I just want to take it easy when I play, so having the option to play "the old way" is very welcome.

TBH, they've shown plenty. Enough for Epic to want to purchase Cloudgine after the engine work was finished. Hell, Cloudgine was always talked about as a 3rd party solution anyways... meaning it will also work on the PS4 and other devices. MS just has better could services than Sony so it'll work better on Xbox.
No, Sony is arrogant because allowing crossplay with other consoles won't actually hurt their sales. You guys always talk about how exclusives are selling consoles and that would still hold true with 3rd party crossplay in place, right?
What they are actually doing is stopping their consumers from having the choice to play with who they want on the console they want with a 3rd party account. You must not care about your freedom of choice as much as how much money So...
