@ BiggerBoss
They did show it off already but you guys insist that it's not real until the game releases and the Cloud is in the wild. Besides that, Epic would not have purchased Cloudgine unless the tech that CD3 demoed was working as demonstrated.
Where's your brains at... BRO?
"Deny it all you want there is proof of that."
I won't deny it because it's true. It's also not on topic.
Of course PS5 is coming soon, duct-taping two PS4 GPU's together isn't exactly cutting it these days...
With GameStop's troubled future, is this the beginning of the end for physical gaming market?
No, physical gaming media will be fine for quite a while. It's the beginning of the end of a company who lost focus on providing excellent customer service for gaming. Maybe if customers weren't treated strictly as a financial metric, the employee/customer relationship would have flourished and the company would too.
Submarina: this game still looks like a last gen game
343: No, it looks a lot better
Trooper: what about gameplay?
o_O
First, gameplay is not graphics and 343 is right. Second, the gameplay looks better too with everything from the original games getting amped up. If you're a fan of chaos and mayhem what's not to like?
Oh, you're funny! Not like that funny "LOL" sort of way though. Funny like, "The lunchmeat in the fridge is no good any longer" sort of way. You know... festering, rancid, lingering, and totally worthless.
"with vastly scaled back destruction/cloud"
Source?
This just in, Sony fanboys believe that assumptions are facts!
You're the one who's misleading people. CD3 was being developed alongside the technology that would drive the cloud-based physics. MS announced that work had started on the cloud and talked about what it could do for games once it was complete. Cloudgine wasn't even completed until last year, just before Epic bought the technology company. Do you have any proof of when MS said the cloud would be ready, or are you just complaining about CD3's recent delays?
Jaguar Evolved said, "...acquiring studio which doesn't mean anything because they already had a lot of studios... What does acquiring studio now that can't produce something of substance for another 4 , 5 or more years."
Math not your strong suit? They doubled their 1st party studios, with 2 being brand new and two that were formerly multiplatform, so how does that mean nothing? Also. why would you think it takes 4-5 years to make a game when develope...
What's the point of testing the PS version of a game when it will never play right anyways?
The 3 DLC packages arriving by September are content-less? I see...
BTW, no choice is hard to make when you're ignorant. You've called a game that no one will play for years "vastly better", while ignoring the two years SoT will have to release free DLC content.
@ digital raptor
"You cannot really be 'more story-driven' in a game that has a story from beginning to end."
Dumbest quote ever, like having a story is just a yes/no question. Speaking of quotes:
"...the series looks to add a deeper emotional depth to the series, while still prioritizing the intense action and thrilling moments the previous games have always focused on. "

"It is also the home of rivals such as Sony Santa Monica Studio, which made God of War, and Treyarch, maker of this year’s Call of Duty. I talked to Gallagher about what it takes to open a brand new Triple-A studio, and he said the company will recruit the best talent and work on games that no one else is making."
I can see some people leaving their respective studios for a new opportunity since there's plenty of talent in Santa Monica who probably want to wo...
MS said they wanted to make games like Horizon with deep SP focus. Gears 5 is shown to be more story-driven already. Halo Infinite will likely be as well from what e know so far. So is Playground's new IP.
Even Crackdown 3 seems to be doing a more legitimate story than the exploration-based campaigns of the first two(not that difficult, TBH, if you know the first two games at all). Reasons I say that are the amount of time being spent on it and the addition of Terry...
@ Morganfell
You mean five of the six studios. Playground built a second studio that is bringing something new to the table. Keeping score, that's two studios that are brand new... built from the ground up.
Also, whatever nonsense you're spouting off about Ninja Theory doesn't make sense. MS already said they could have shown Ninja Theories' game at E3 so it definitely won't be 3 years off, it will still be an exclusive, and your pe...
I loved FM. It WAS my favorite racing game series along with PGR and Rallisport Challenge. Now I have FM physics and customization, PGR's racing with style, and RC's off-roading all in one dynamic open world!
Forza Horizon is untouchable. Who's going to compete? Drive Club? GT Sport? It's not even close anymore... not even Forza Motorsports can compete.
New Monday said, "Sony won because the PS4 exclusives generated the most interest, they were the most watched and discussed positively." LOL. You guys really do live in the world of make.believe, don't you?

"Instant clickbait news for the fanboys of N4G!"
Yep. It got you here posting when you obviously don't care about the topic.
It won't slowly kill you, but it speaks volumes about Sony's character and their decision is counter-intuitive to their slogan, "4 the Players". It's sad when even Nintendo makes fun of Sony for their poor community support.
