"MS have to let them do their developers to do their own vision, not interfere them."
Maybe if you quit talking $#!+ all the time and did a little research, you'd have realized years ago that MS does give their studios freedom to do what they want. I'm not even going to bother to provide links because there's so many times it's been talked about.
If Capcom rejected DMC as the template for RE4, why did they agree to changing every aspect of the RE franchise with the crap-tastic RE4? Great that you like it, but it's the gaming equivalent of swapping out a banana split for a taco. Who cares that you like the taco that Capcom turned your banana split into when we all deserved another dessert?
Let's put it this way: Naughty Dog didn't make The Last of Us into another Uncharted game, did they? If Capcom di...
I don't like PS exclusives. In order to gamble there has to be a reward... one which doesn't exist for me when considering the PS library. Maybe Uncharted and Horizon (maybe)...
...but I like more exclusive 1st party from MS than that, plus a Xbox has a better controller, network, services, UHD dvd playback, and I get both XBL and Game Pass for free every year just for searching with Bing on my phone and console/pc. Oh yeah, and I have crossplay too.
"That would be the only legit reason for multiple systems."
Why does Sony have a mid-gen console then? Why is XB1 already described as a family? It's likely that MS isn't launching two consoles when Scarlet arrives ... even though that's what the article is hypothesizing... they're more than likely building the next Xbox family in the same way as this generation (if it can even be called a generation any more).
The real questio...
@ Tyler
"You assume that the mp and Cloud tech was simply done thus the two developers went on their merry way? You better have a damn good source for that, otherwise don't spread bs."
Don't spread BS? Look who's talking. Epic bought Cloudgine once it was completed. The quote I pulled, FROM A SOURCE, thanks both studios for their work which is something usually done when the developers are finished with a project. Do you have a source that...
The point was to downplay FH4, obviously, because nobody thinks FH4 will turn around a sparse lineup on its' own. In other news...
A glass of water is great for your thirst, but still won't help you take a bath.
Why would anyone think one game could fix the entire problem of exclusives in the first place? Stupid of them to even mention it.
Forza Horizon 4 is going to be awesome, end of story.
Yeah, because the game seems almost too good to be true! It looks like a perfect remake in every way, but I'm always going to have this fear that I'll see Las Plagas or something stupid that makes me face palm. I don't honestly think Capcom is going to mess this up, but their track record with the series haunts me just enough...
It's only appearing that way to you because you obviously didn't bother to learn anything about how the development was being handled. It's been mentioned here on many occasions and the information is readily available for you to research if you're interested in the truth. I posted to DarthV72 above, but I'll leave this link here too if you want to educate yourself instead of making silly assumptions...

Yeah, Epic bought Cloudgine in January so all of the tech is now being incorporated into Unreal. Besides, Reagent co-developed Cloudgine alongside Ruffian, Epic, and of the Cloudgine devs themselves so perhaps he can lend his expertise to the Unreal team now.

MS had this to say about work...
Yep, and it certainly looks to be redemption for Just Cause 3 which I found to be tolerable but irritating with all the bugs and frame rate problems.
I'm getting it for free from watching MS' E3 on Mixer so I'll at least give it a try, but I'm probably not going to like it very much. Least it's free.
This game sounds awesome...
@ Gutz
The trailers have been for single player. The MP is where the cloud is being used.
"The fact that you ACTUALLY went there and said that this is something to do with what I think about Sony..."
Boy who cries Wolf and all that... Honestly, I don't care to take the time to read your comment history, but your actions speak loud enough on most occasions for me to judge (and misjudge). I apologize if you're trying to change from what I see as your usual behaviors. I would much rather have productive conversations like the majority of both ou...
You're right, Sony doesn't require PSN to play F2P games (which makes sense) but seriously though, who doesn't already subscribe to XBL or PSN? If you want to play MP in a F2P game you almost certainly play MP in other games like COD and Battlefront too which means you already subscribe anyways. I don't agree with the concept but it hardly impacts anybody at all for the reason I just described.

I thought the reviews were mediocre for this game... that most people here were saying it would flop... that it wasn't AAA... that it was a rehash of SoD1... that sales would be hurt by Game Pass...
Yet here we are, with Game Pass, and sales are still high for this AND SoT!
Considering all S&B is right now, even getting to the content level of SoT would be an improvement.
Or swimming, or land to explore, or ship invasion with hand-to-hand combat...
It's sailing with cannons on board.
Meanwhile, Rare has two years to produce expansive DLC content to broaden the variety and story of SoT. S&B doesn't seem interested anything but ship-to-ship battles.
If you watched the conference, you'd know that Phil talked about not being done with studio acquisitions yet. They doubled their first party portfolio and made a rather strong goal of becoming the best first party publisher in the world, at the same time adding that they were just getting started with this pursuit.
