You know those stupid advertisments that give you free stuff? Same thing there too. I go back on to my 360, find the ad and download free stuff without using the web browser at all... or a credit card. MS needs to fix this, because I buy all my currency at retail just so I don't need a credit card, which can potentially get stolen by hackers.
Sometimes I don't know what I want and would like to browse through the store, but since things aren't well organized it's almost impossible. Besides, did they forget how 360 does it? I prefer 360's store over XB1's store by a wide margin.
He's not selling his engine, he's literally giving away his research to anyone who want's to make a DX12 engine of their own. You can look it up. There's a reason why he is the only one who's quoted at any of the AMD DX12 conference meetings. MS and AMD chose to work with him so they could get a head start on the learning curve associated DX12 and help others with the transition. People also seem to forget about the fact that WDDM 2.0 is also helping to make the XB1 mor...
Kaze88, you're saying the 32x was a gimmick that didn't add much more power??? Play Station would have been similar, albeit more powerful.
We're not talking about power here anyways, we're talking about creating a market within a market. What do devs program for, everybody or only the people who own the add on? That's where the lack of success lies, not the power.
Let's see...
Sega CD, 32x, SNES Play Station, N64 Expansion Pak, N64 DD Drive, etc. I think I can see how it's going to turn out, at least if the past is anyhting to go by.
Larping is going to take off in a big way when you can fight virtual monsters and conjure spells you can see in the real world!
Thank you. Every time I saw an article about Hololens, it was filled with comments about how it wasn't as good as VR for gaming. I would comment that Hololens was for other applications besides gaming, and that MS has plans for VR through OR on XB1 (in conjunction with the Irides predictive software technology).
So, one prediction down, one to go! Mike Ybarra says MS has a few big announcements coming in 2016...
Good call. I also want to see a new Perfect Dark, Banjo, Conker, and/or Kameo. A Rare Kart racer would be cool too, but like Diddy Kong with hover craft and planes, a story, boss battles, and arenas. A Too Human reboot would be cool, so MS could have their own GoW/Bloodborne type game, and a full-on Fable reboot to get back to the roots of swordplay and fantasy again, but in a big open world this time instead of outdoor hallways.
So much potential on resurrecting older franc...
Halo 5 does DLC right. Charge for optional things to create a revenue stream to help support the production of new, free maps for the multiplayer.
Oh, it has a campaign too, and the new Forge is coming for user generated content, neither of which the new Battlefield supports.
Shuhei said he was caught off guard shortly after he let go of his Zipper Interactive because everyone wanted to Socom again. He's currently suffering from stage fright...
My bad Sully, I really thought you could figure it out. You don't have your head in the sand, you're stuck in a Sarlacc pit.
•No single player -50%
•Half as many MP maps -25%
•Plus everything else Dark mentioned.
Okay, Sully I'll give you a small hint.
•Battlefront 2 had an 18 mission campaign, 18 land based MP maps, and 6 flight combat maps.
•EA just put out 12 maps with no campaign.
You can figure out the rest.

You want to make somebody feel like they're somewhere else besides 10 years ago. If we were talking about gaming in general though, I'd agree with you.
RV? Are we going camping?
Rain is right. I can't even watch 2d movies while sitting close to the screen without geting sick, let alone anywhere in the theater in 3d. VR is impossible for me without an immediate headache and intense nausea after only a few minutes. I only represent me though.
What I can say about this aspect of VR is that because it affects some of the gaming population, the market will inevitably be smaller than that of the console itself. To me, it still has a better chance ...
If the data size for the remake is too large to fit on one disc, they could release a multiple disc title. I mean, I remember FF7 was originally a multiple disc release on PS1, so why did SE forget? Actually, didn't they leave Nintendo and pioneer multi-disc gaming for this reason alone???
SE = Screw Everyone
First we wait 10 years to get confirmation on the remake, now we'll have to wait 10 years more to see the release of all the installments... Fa...
Paragon just had a trailer of the PS4 version of the game if you want to see Unreal 4 on a console. I didn't realize it was a MOBA though, which makes me sad. TBH, I wanted to see the Unreal 4 tech demo assets turned into a full fledged story, like Gears became one after the Unreal 3 tech demos that used various Locust models. The gritty, dark worlds they portray in demos like Samaritan look awesome.
Sullynathan, why not do a little research if you'd like to see it instead of sticking your head in the sand like it doesn't exist? There is massive content missing from nearly every concieveable area of the game.
Anyways, I like how EA defended themselves when fans outcried about the lack of depth before launch, but now that it's released and they've sold millions they acknowledge us. Cool, now they can pretend to apologize, work hard to fix it post launch, a...
"Bruh," you stuck in the nineties with all that machismo?
Oh, I've got it!!!
Given the recent NX patents and MS continually hyping up the cloud, I think I finally figured it out. Nintendo will produce the NX, and it will play Nintendo games. When hooked up to the XB1, they will be both be more powerful than by themselves. Like when two characters from DBZ fuse...
