PS+ is every bit the equal to GWG offerings to this point. Since the BC announcement I'd give XB1 the advantage by having 360 games as part of their monthly offerings, but who knows what PS4 will do now that they have PS2 emulation. Regardless, they both have fantastic free offerings and PS+ is cheaper by $10 per year unless you buy a 24 month XBL sub at $100.

That's a silly statement. Are side scrolling games out of style too then? Turn based RPGs and turn based strategy games are still relevant. They always will be. The fact that we don't see these styles(and other older styles) much anymore is juxteposed by all the modern games that feel too similar to one another, and we need to revisit these styles again to diversify gaming.
And Halo 5 has free DLC, so I'm not sure how an optional microtransaction is bad. Matter of fact, I think the optional microtransactions in Halo 5 are probably the reason for the free DLC maps. If that became the norm for all games, I'd be fine with that.
I remember hearing that Playground was not working on FH3, but what that means is anyone's guess. I'm guessing either Forza Rallisport or an open world action game of some type.
