I'd rather see Serious Sam get a reboot. The original "horde mode" style game that always kept you on your toes, was full of off beat humor, and had some of the craziest enemies ever!
It would only work in Snap, so it's more of a "sideground" app ATM.
Honestly, I'd thought of if as a dream that they'd simply abandoned like many other announcements made during the XB1 reveal. It's good to see this idea finally bear fruit!
I hope it includes internet radio and background TV as well. There's some good cable "radio" channels out there too.
It runs on tigers blood and causes bouts of epic winning.
As long as they kept the cheats I'm good. I loved slow motion and disco mode!
It's a hit with the zombies.
I don't play it so some of these might be in the game already:
KITT
General Lee
Herbie
The truck from Maximum Overdrive
Christine
The Wraith
Any of the cars from Deathrace 2000
You're right. 12.1 games are going to take a while to develop and publish, and by then devs will be working on 12.2 hardware specs. I don't understand why people around here insist that as soon as the API gets launched that games immediately offer full support for it. It's a slow process.
You're being a bit cynical about this, honestly I expected a bit more of an explanation from you.
Some companies that make electronics, during the transition, claimed to be able to upgrade 1.4 ports on their UHD TV's to the 2.0 standard via a firmware update, so your statement is not entirely true. Also, I don't think you know what an FPGA is since you said they don't matter because the hardware is locked. Field Programmable Gate Arrays are not locked, they ...
A few months ago MS said it would be a challenge for them to do it right, but they were looking into it. I think the challenge is in the way Sony obtained patents for making trophies possible on PS2 games. I understand that it would make it difficult to find a workaround to make achievements work on OG Xbox games because of these patents.
Oh, was that confirmed? I didn't read anything about it being faked. I only saw the few articles here about it being "leaked". E3 is not too far off, so hopefully we'll hear about it then.
Many educated people also said HEVC and BC weren't possible, and look where we stand now. The XB1 has abilities, like VM coding for it's multiple OS, that allow it to change how it behaves in substantial ways(like BC, a new OS, and new API). Who's to say that the output stage of the XB1 isn't also programmable via the XB1's VM capabilities? What would be the reason for XB1 to have 3.9GB/sec output if it is limited to about a third of that by the HDMI interface? To specu...
I think that putting the words "NX" and "succeed" in the same sentence is an oxymoron, at least if the supposed leak of the controller is real. How do you play a game on a TV (or in VR) if you can't feel the buttons?
The video display bandwidth of the XB1 is 3.9GB/sec as shown in MS slides. (according to AMD in their slides about Display Port 1.3, which has 4GB/sec bandwidth, it's about 80% more bandwidth than HDMI 2.0). You can look that up too and post it for me when I get disagrees if you like.
$24.99 seems more in line with the components in terms of value. It's just some extra plastic bits and a refresh for the sticks.
First thing i thought of when I saw the word "buttgate" was the old long johns people used to wear with the flap on them so they wouldn't freeze when they went to the bathroom in an outhouse.
Before I got finished with the title, I was presented with another conundrum. If buttgate embodies a wider problem of censorship, does that mean we have a wider buttgate? Does this article make my buttgate look fat to you?
That's absolutely insane. I don't think there's anyone you could show those renders to who would tell you they were even CG, let alone realtime.
Yes it was, Yokan. I couldn't remember the specifics about the incident so thank you! I also read recently that New Jersey may make it illegal to text and walk by placing a $50 fine on anyone who does.
Back in the late 80's when I was big into rc, one of the magazines had a Reader's Ride posted that was a perfect Landmaster replica, with proper wheel articulation and everything else too. It was something like 3ft. long... I was super jealous!
