Yetter is right on point about a May target. By Fall, devs will have access to Shader Model 6 and FL12.1 features. MS is making an open platform for running things like Steam games in UWP too. Lots of goodies on the way.
I don't think PC gamers would ever be happy about having to pay for online, so here's a couple alternatives. Wouldn't it be interesting if Gold became more of a service like PS+ on the ps3, and gaming online became free at some point as the UWP develops and grows in ordder to make things fair? Saints 1 had the best gameplay, but Saints 2 had the most uniqueness for an open world, turf wars style game. It was the right amount of wacky and serious without all the superhero BS that took the gangbanging out of the franchise.

So Dailystar is like the Enquirer here in the states? Even as an Xbox fan, I can tell this article is a joke. While I do play the GWG titles quite often, it's absolutely no reason to switch. Sony has some good games coming out that most people will enjoy. MS has some games coming out that I prefer over Sony's offerings though, but that's just one man's opinion.
