I disagree. The rating is there specifically as a standard to adhere to so if the game is labeled appropriately then the content shouldn't matter. It's up to the consumer to decide if the content displayed on the box is appropriate for their kids to play. If it gets into the hands of kids, which it will, it's no different than GTA or COD from a purely ratings standpoint. In either case, parents need to talk about drugs and violence with their kids so they don't learn about...

I'm having higher hopes now more than ever that this is a reboot and not a remake. IMO, it would be awesome for the original story arc to finally get the treatment it deserves by doing away with those Las Plagas abominations and all the garbage that followed.

I think you're missing the point. The dev is saying that every game should have a 4K mode and a 60fps mode, but not necessarily together. Even now, it is becoming more common to see a game have a resolution and a performance mode and this dev believes that having the option will become the standard for next gen gaming.

My opinion is just that... mine, and you really know nothing about why I post the way I do. I told you already, I like MS 1st party exclusives better than Sony's and have had plenty of great 1st party games to play all this generation. Devs will get fed up with the wall Sony is putting up and will eventually stop making their MP games for PS, because they don't want to split up their userbase and deal with Sony-implemented account lockouts anymore.
