It's not that I love MS... It's that I like Sony less.

Babadivad, M. Bison is actually Balrog, not Vega. They swapped character names because M. Bison and M.Tyson were too similar. ;P

I disagree. I thought that the fact that Tommy was missing in Prey 2 opened up lots of possibility. It looked like Prey 2 had an almost Blade Runner type of feel to it, with detective work and action mixed up together. I was Psyched to see the concepts for it an hope it remains intact if Prey 2 is put back into develpoment.

2pacalypse, MS doesn't have to make two versions of their games because Win10 and DX12 allow for games to automatically scale to whatever device they'll be played on. One version for Xbox One, Scorpio, and PC.

Took the time to look up all that, do all kinds of math to spin it in your favor, but couldn't google "forza 360fps physics" to find out I'm right? Hell, even Forza Horizon still has 360fps physics and it's an open world game! Forza 2 took the crown from GT and now you're all butt hurt by a franchise that's been consistently better than GT every time it releases. Why don't you compare the releases that were competitors and see how the chips stack up? Maybe i...

Like I said, ignorant people around here won't get it which is why it's funny. Forza has had decoupled physics since Forza 2, and does indeed run physics at 360 fps. Forza is also a higher rated franchise. And GT3 was the first in the series to have night racing or weather, but they took it out of 4 and reintroduced it in 5.

Slippy Nooooooooo! Looks like you didn't get your barrel roll off in time...

No, even the current XB1 has support for any format of media at 4K resolutions. MS has stated this multiple times already.

Forza runs its physics at 360 fps... GT runs its physics at 60 fps. Forza has had livery editing and damage since Forza 1 and has kept making physics better with every iteration... GT took the better part of two decades to figure out that people who like cars like to customize them and drive them. All Polyphony really cares about is car models and lighting them and everything else they do is second rate. Forza has been king since Forza 2 and will continue to be king at least until GT7 makes ...

No, I don't mind. All the disagrees and outrage I'll get over my post, which is not only the truth but is easily verified, just go to show how blind people like you actually are. GT has always been focused on the number of cars and the graphics... and now it has neither. Add to that the consistently poor physics, stupid AI, and all the copying of standard Forza features like damage, livery editing, and the hiring of the former Forza sound engineer so GT might actually sound right a...

Somebody should tell these people that in order to blend Virtual with Reality, the game has to at least try to use environments that look real, and not like some last gen port of GT6. PGR3 on 360, from 2005, looks better than this, and no, I'm not joking. Look it up. Maybe Polyphony can "mistakenly" use PGR screenshots (for a third time) to advertise Gran Turismo to try to make it look appealing?

GT 6: Port. Unless they plan on changing all of the geometry, the game will still ship with green wall "forests" covered up by 2d trees, and many other lackluster environmental details that should have been left behind when last gen became obsolete. Is this really the best that Polyphony can do when forced to make a VR title?

DX12 does require a from the ground up engine to run well. Matter of fact, there are still some features of DX12 which aren't even available to devs yet, as referenced at Build this year. Too many people around here think that all you have to do is tell your game it's on DX12 and everything both magically transfers and looks better. Some features, like those of FL12.1, would require rerouting massive amounts of code from one part of the GPU pipeline to the hardware accelerated DX12...

I agree Edmix. More open world, more RPG, more exploration, more immersion. Mass Effect has lots of great things about it, but relative to more recent RPG's I can't help but think that ME's formula is outdated.

Control seems to be the way most companies are making money these days, which is sad because it's the consumer that gets stuck with limited choice in the long run.

Yeah I agree, but to be fair, Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo don't exactly play nice with each other either.

There was that rumor yesterday about a Red Dead Prequel. Maybe a Red Dead Revolver Remaster/Reboot?

3680d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's a prequel, so maybe it's a remake of Red Dead Revolver? A Red Dead Remake?

@Timesplitter

In your opinion...

I always wonder how a company can show the game running smoothly 2 years before launch and with better graphics. I mean, what happened to the game/engine that made them downgrade? Are they just playing the game on a kit with more memory, or a PC, to show us a target? I'd rather see a game get better as development progresses than get worse.

At any rate, I can't figure out why they end up tagging their videos in the way you describe, 2pacalypse.
