With you 100%, SR2 was just the right amount of funny and serious. All that superhero BS ruined it for me.
No doubt. With how long they've teased us, every last detail had better be epic. Epic, like Elder Scrolls, Witcher, and Fallout. NOT like the last Dragon Age... which wasn't horrible but felt really dated and lacking polish in some places.
Shadowknight, correct me if I'm wrong here but instead of using Crossfire, couldn't XDMA be used instead? I thought XDMA is supposed to work not only with any two GPU's, but also offer up improvements to all software run with it.
Epic Winning! Thanks, N4G!!!
Edit @ disagree: Seriously? Sorry, but I thought it was pretty cool to win $100 just for continuing to be a part of the N4G community.
Oh boy, pictures!!!
Yep, that's why I quit managing one a few years back. They went from treating their employees with respect to micromanaging every aspect of our daily routines, with constant threats of job secutiry for failure to comply. They effectively turned their employees into a disposable tool more annoying than a pop up ad on a website.
E3 prediction:
FIFA 17 will be an always connected MMO where each fan (up to 50,000) is an actual player. While only a handful of people will actually be engaged in playing the sport itself, the fans in the crowd will be engaged in a turf war, attempting to capture control points within the grandstands and give momentum to their affiliated team.
Human After All, keep telling yourself that you have a clue if it makes you feel better, because you obviously didn't listen to a word I said. I never said that the series should go back to the old controls, but that in RE4 the controls were crap. Seriously, what special forces agent doesn't know how to move and shoot at the same time??? I only said the series should go back to survival horror, which is a genre, not a play style. The story of 4 took everything that meant something t...
I feel the same as the author. Most of what is coming out doesn't have much substance to it and feels like a demo more than a game. Kind of how Wii games felt at the beginning. VR software will need to mature, but all this shovelware at the beginning will actually hurt VR's chances of successs for the long term.
Everybody should read this interview!
It's really good to see how Techland feels about gamers, gaming, and having fun doing what they love to do. Glad to know Techland has their hearts in th right places to grow the company into something more like Rockstar, putting quality and post launch support first.
Yeah, Konami is taking a gamble with one of it's best franchises. ;P
I will not get over it.
Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 were all crap. Capcom has become crap too, forced to remake games just to stay in business. Seriously, Resident Evil 4 had no S.T.A.R.S., no Umbrella, no Zombies, some ridiculous space parasite invasion, and crappier controls than the originals(at least the controls up till 4 fit with the pacing of the combat). 5 and 6 were just campy action romps with marginally better controls and ridiculous plots as well. The series ne...
Nvidia still has no hardware to run Async Compute, it emulates the performance of ACEs through software. The only GPU that supports both FL12.0(AMD) and FL12.1(Nvidia) is inside the XB1.
Indeed. They're laying cable from the US to Europe because the ISP's are not keeping up with MS' needs for growth.
In Australia?
It would be cool if they launched the preview of new features when E3 takes place, but I can't wait for E3 just to see what these big changes are going to be!
I was just talking about how there needed to be another Serious Sam a few months ago! This will be awesome if the rumor is true, Seriously!!!
Call of Juarez was a decent series, but it was Dead Island and Dying Light which stole the show. So far, a great upstart company that I hope will use their growth wisely. I can appreciate 2 games a year, but I want to see them continue to invest time into making the little details of their programming better, as well as making new IP like Hellblade. I'm anxious to see how they're doing with it! Seriously though, they have the potential to become one of the next great AAA studios (...
How about instead of making crappy games like DMC, RE5, 6, Revelations 1, and 2, Umbrella Corps, and Street Fighter 5, then remaking old games to earn money from all of their failures... They just make good games that make them money to begin with? Then Capcom might not be on the verge of financial collapse all the time. To add insult to injury, now they're porting their crappy games. Oh well, at least they're remaking RE2 right now so they've got something good coming out soon.
Surprise! Another remake.
All I've got to say is that if I hear Otis yell at me one more time for not answering my phone when I enter a food court full of zombies, I'll feed him to them.
