Then go buy it again when it releases, I'm not stopping you! I still play my old games on my old consoles, so I don't need to play it again because it sports more pixels than the last time.
Also, the forum is about voicing our opinions, and I'm not here to try to make yours the same as mine. Did you know that not everybody shares the same opinion as you? I know, it's weird, right? Seriously though, the only one here bitching about anything is you so just...
Oh, I'm sorry Stardust you're right. If Kaz said stuff days AFTER the reveal that obviously means he was being honest during that interview... and also nullifies the times Sony was asked to elaborate on DRM but skirted the issue BEFORE the E3 reveal. That was my bad.
You're voting for Trump, right?
I know they were announced, but I didn't like it then either. Sure, these re-releases are good for a quick cash grab but Capcom obviously has issues with quality lately. They need to make the new RE amazing, and should be focused there instead of wasting time with this kind of stuff.
Capcom, can you please just focus on making a new Resident Evil - Survival Horror game a great experience so that people can get excited about the franchise again?
After the battle on Titan, will Titanfall?
I still think that in the future, an Xbox will be a full featured, living room PC/console that also plays Xbox games. It will run PC only games, Steam will be an app for it, full KB/M support, applications like Word and Photoshop too. Xbox will be at work on a PC, laptop, phone, tablet, or a console because it will be an ecosystem more than a machine.
In that regard, it will be PC gamers who become Xbox gamers, not the other way around.
Blastoise, Sony already did that at least once when they launched the PS4. They changed their DRM policies from the same as MS to mocking them after the backlash. For those who say Sony wasn't going to do DRM, go back and look at interviews set before the PS4 launch and you'll find Sony skirting that issue every time it came up.
Ever heard of a backup plan? They'd just take out some of the filler and replace it with PS Neo. Don't worry though, MS won'...
We know they will have a VR presence at E3 so we'll definitely have some new hardware/features to talk about. I seriously doubt they'll show Scorpio with it's release so far out. Rift support on XB1 is most logical, but how they do it is anyone's guess if it isn't being done on Scorpio.
Rude Ro, MS has Irides which can help to process VR from the cloud. They aren't going to show off Scorpio more than a year away from it's retail launch and kill XB1 sales while people wait for it. So if XB1 has an E3 category titled "Virtual Reality - Xbox One" with a half a dozen developers on board for the presentation, and one of those developers even says their game is launching this fall, then at least we can rule out Scorpio being shown off at E3 by utilizing simple de...
Shadowrun isn't weird.
Okay, besides having my brain unnecessarily squeezed by Google Translate, it sounds a little like Shadowrun... I just hope these guys can pull out a Bethesda/CD Projekt Red kind of performance because we need a game like this. Tech and fantasy are a good combo, IMO, and just not exploited enough.
Spring Heeled Jack, what if the Scorpio ends up being real and the console becomes a fully functional set top PC that allows for all Xbox games to be played on it ws well? It could use the Rift (at 6tf), play Steam games, PC only releases, even run application software like Photoshop or Reason. I'm just hypothesizing all of this, obviously, but what if that were true? I don't plan on getting Scorpio if rumors are true about its development, but even I would upgrade at that point becaus...
It's better than making 10 louder!
I'm still saying it's going to be the Rift does VR on all Xbox One consoles via an update, just like BC. Everyone said, "IMPOSSIBLE" to the notion of BC on the XB1, including several prominent tech sites, and all of the sudden it not only worked but now offers improved performance in some cases over playing on a 360. MS has Irides, just look it up - MS Irides - which can help with processing VR from the cloud. MS will also shoot themselves in the foot if they announce a b...
1. decent hardware.
2. good 3rd party support.
3. a normal controller.
4. executives that aren't irrational.
5. no other consoles to compete with.
That's what COD needs to do: stop the Infinite Warfare and add in a healthy dose of porn. MP could be like a cross between an orgy and Splatoon!!!
Why haven't they made any simulators with guys as the stars? I'm outraged that they would be so sexist and call for a ban on all their games! Where are the SJW's when you need them? /s
What is Scorpio? More likely a 4k solution for XB1 games than something designed specifically for VR support, but who knows... some people over at Mr. X's site are still hopeful that MS will just flip the Scorpio switch and let the secret sauce flow! They've been saying for years now that the true power of XB1 is 5 to 6tf which does seem a bit coincidental, but could you imagine if MS actually did flip a switch and gave every XB1 owner 4k and VR support??? Anyways, enough of the fan...
Love how you get all the disagrees, but MS has been working for years on things like Irides and the recently announced peripheral vision lighting system. I'm betting on OR working on the OG XB1 through Irides, since MS has cloud infrastructure in place already that can handle things.
Thanks Jedi and JC12 for backing me up. I didn't think the wolves would come out to defend themselves like that to say the least! I mean, Edmix talks about how all last generation Capcom did things this way, but fails to see that this is where they ended up because of it. They released RE5, RE6, Revelations 1 and 2, and they all sucked, sold miseraably, and required the remasters be made just to keep Capcom from failing as a company. The trend isn't changing either. The most rece...
