I hope it's better than the first one. Even the Thief reboot was better than Dishonored and it was pretty bad. Couldn't even manage to finish Dishonored I got so bored with it. Same with Bioshock, which also plagerized good games poorly. Besides COD, Dishonored and Bioskock are the two most overrated games I can think of, but to each their own. That's why we make choices.
The layout doesn't bother me so much as it stands, but I can't understand why games that I've hidden require the secret code "LT, RT, and X" to make them visible when there should just be a one button screen prompt that tells you how to access them. I had to look the code up on the net because Xbox Help offered none. Stupid, if you ask me.
No problems for me, I'd call MS.
That's how most people felt about Fable Legends too. Epic needs to get back to it's talents, with a good single player story that offers fast paced multiplayer.
I think that those tech demos are both a part of some new IP that Epic didn't have the money to move forwards with. When we look back at UE3 tech demos, Epic used Gears assets to demonstrate the engine. I wonder if news about this "new game" will come up at E3? I sure hope so.
Players in an online multiplayer game who continue to abuse the system in order to gain an avantage should be punished up to and including permanent bans if more modest penalties aren't enough to dissuade the cheating. It happens in sports, why should it be any different in gaming?
The developers of Call of Duty, all of them, remind me of a Katamari. They roam around the development landscape getting bigger and bigger, collecting all of the ideas of the other games out there into a big, plagerized ball to call their own.
I said it the other day, but I think they should just go full on zombie at this point and at least copy from a new genre.
He didn't talk about an upgraded Xbox. He talked about the future of the console industry becoming upgradable. The difference is that while it could interpretted to mean an XB 1.5 is on its way, it could also mean that the next (4th Xbox) will be modular so it can be upgraded instead of replaced.
Happens on my XB1 as well. N4G should not allow content from this site to be linked anymore.
I want to know what Mike Ybarra meant when he'd mentioned the "two to three (technology) announcements coming this year as big as the BC announcement". I also want to know what unannounced titles MS has up their sleeve. Hopefully some new IP, but Mech Assault, Perfect Dark, and Shadowrun (as an open world RPG) are my top three candidates for a return to the limelight.
Yeah, I didn't bother to read the article after I read that. From some of the other posts here though, I assume the author believes that the XB1.5 will be 10TF as well... Lol.
I can't stand Call of Duty, and think they're some of the worst games ever made...
But even I can admit that they did tons of work to polish the way the game looks. The difference is obvious because detail was added to every possible facet of the game. Lighting, geometry, effects, textures, you name it. Anyone who loved this game the first time just got treated to one of the best remasters I recall seeing. Ever. It's like Halo: MCC better.
Yeah, glad I'm not the only one who sees what's up. Activision could release a remastered version of the game as a standalone for $30, but then who in their right mind would buy Infinite Boredom for $60? Now everyone who wants to play a good COD game this year has to spend $80 for it.
Knowing Activision though, I'd count on a retail release for Modern Warfare after they force everyone to buy the new one, due to "unforseen and overwhelming demand"... A...
I just thought about something interesting...
What if the PS4 Neo is literally insurance for the success of VR? Think about it for a second. If there are 36 compute units (double, as in two eyes) in the Neo and slightly stronger CPU cores, the Neo wouldn't need to rely interpolation for PSVR anymore and every game released could be VR compatible if played on the Neo. If the all the internet rumors are true, Sony also wants all games to support the Neo by October, ri...
It tells us that you guys are too obsessed with benchmarks and not concerned enough with playing the game.
3DTV was the next television too, but I can totally see how wearing a bulky headset to watch 3DTV instead of a lightweight pair of glasses will be much more popular... O.o
Thank you Starchild, that's my point exactly. Drake looks very close to the way that trailer portrays him, of that there's no doubt, but nothing else I've seen in the retail release looks like that environment does. As I said, Naughty Dog did amazing work, but showing that 2014 video running at 60fps clearly overstepped the capability of the system, so they chose to make just the characters look close. Magic is all about misdirection, and for those who think the reveal trailer ...
And to think, this thread almost got away with having civilized posting which commented on the topic instead of being infected with childish "my console is better than your console BS". That's not even mentioning any of the people who think that what you said was a good thing...
You and DoXze need to grow up. Seriously.
So showing just the character from the 2014 reveal means that Uncharted 4 looks just like the trailer? What about showing how the environment compares? I'll admit that the final game looks very close to the target render shown in 2014, but the environment doesn't look as good overrall as the 2014 reveal. Maybe it's because the retail release has much larger areas to render? I don't know, but I can say that Naughty Dog did a fantastic job improving the quality of the graphi...
Yeah, and neither has Sony, lol. Under your knights' shining armor sits a warrior who hasn't bathed for months.
Whatever. What i see is that Sweeney is the only one really complaining about The dangers of the UWP, and he looks like one of those soap-box Bible bangers preaching on a street corner at this point. Especially ironnic considering that his company took $80 million from MS for the Gears franchise because Epic was strapped for cash.
