No, the cloud adds 20 additional consoles worth of processing power, for physics, to the XB1 in Crackdown. That's still more than 4 Scorpios worth of extra compute for CD3's physics. Does cloud still matter? Of course the cloud still matters, because extra power is extra power no matter what system it's added to! Plus, the cloud itself gets better with time just like processing power does, because bandwidth will improve over time too.

It wouldn't be expensive to put a mic into the console though, and it would allow you to voice command just like Kinect. Why use a headset and a controller to change the channel or volume of your TV, etc.?

I agree with everything you said, but there's a bit more to it. Let me ask you this: What if Scorpio does act as a full-fledged computer (I.E. It can play all PC games, acts as a Steam machine in addition to an Xbox, whatever)? Will that push you to PC gaming?

People around here seem to think that Scorpio is XB2 and Neo is still just a PS4, which I don't understand. Like you pointed out, Scorpio is part of the XB1 family, according to the reveal, and all games besides VR will work on any XB1.
Weird. Before you even link to the site the author makes it seem like the XB1S is more powerful, when it's the exact same console with a better HDMI port that's 4K and HDR compliant, and it also makes it seem like Scorpio plans to abandon XB1. Neither are true.

Truthfully though, if Sony is putting out Neo just 3 years into PS4's life cycle it would stand to reason that 3 years from holiday 2016 there will be a PS5 to replace it.
I forgot they do that with the 360 GWG on the XB1 but I remember reading that somewhere, now that you mention it. I still have my 360, where I can get both the 360 GWG and (ironically) Avatar Props without a credit card.
I see what you're saying, because it is a workaround to the problem, but the point is that it is a problem that shouldn't exist.
