How puzzling...
Well said Unholy One, you're right on point. The game doesn't have to be for everyone to be enjoyable for you. Play what you like if it suits you and forget the reviews/others. I mean, one of my all-time favorite games is Too Human for 360, which I still own. I can't even tell you how many times I've played it. That game reviewed horribly, it averaged in the 60's, and I still love every minute of it. Was it perfect though? Hell no, and I didn't care because I can...
Yeah, no kidding. I got attacked by a bunch of people around here for suggesting it wasn't that good. By people who said I'd never played it because I don't own a PS4 and can't possibly know what I'm talking about. I said 5 or 6 out of 10 initially. I played more after that. I moved my opinion up to a 6 of 10, with as high as an 8 once all the planned add-ons get released. I even said it's okay to still like a game that's not reviewed well. Hell, I do sometim...
Hey, way to be stupid!!! You'd better fix it, guys. No really... fix it.
How does anybody even agree with you in this instance, Rain? How do you not see the question???
Question in post 1: ...show me a good VR game...
Question in post 2: What games allow for...
Can none of you read? Does anybody here have the capacity to actually talk about games which look good, play like a normal game, and have good graphics? Why are we even mentioning driving games like GT:Port? There's over 100 games in development for PSVR ...
As usual, people skirt the issue, and can't answer the question I posit so they personally attack instead. Blew away my whole argument, lol. What VR games allow for full control of your character, plays like a non-VR game (like Fallout, which will support VR at some point), and has good quality graphics?
I didn't even mention that latency is just barely passable, screen door effect is still present, the headsets are large enough to fatigue after just a few hours, m...
How long does it take for Nvidia to put ACE's into their GPU's? They're still running some crappy software to emulate an ACE. How do they not realize that the point of hardware acceleration is having HARDWARE to support it??? Oh, but they support FL12.1 which to my knowledge no programmer has ever used yet. They need to be humbled, IMO.
Gt: Port, recycling last gen assets says hello. He's also brought his friends, shovelware, with him. Now that better than 3/4 of all VR games are out of the way show me a good VR game, that isn't an on rails experience, that actually has decent graphics! Both PSVR and PC games in VR are towards the low end of functional VR, but at least a PC has a minimum of around 4 times the PS4 in order to make VR plausable. TBH, 1st gen VR is just past Power Glove or Kinect in terms of functio...
Games like Quantum Break, Sea of Thieves, Recore, and Scalebound already say hello. There are more than a dozen unannounced projects in development too, and I'm sure that some of those are also going to be new IP's. Maybe you didn't realize? At any rate, MS could use a few more 1st party studios to keep those IP's coming but at least they are getting talented 3rd party studios to make some of their 1st party games in the meantime.
Beam looks like it will add a lot of functionality to the social aspect of gaming, and that's pretty awesome!
This looks like a lot of fun, and the graphics are nice too.
Unfortunately, even if we ignore it completely it still won't go away...
Sweeny Tim? The Demon Developer of Gaming? That would make a good musical! ;P
Plan D: Partner with Valve. Make Scorpio a super-powerful XB1 that also doubles as a Steam machine so it can play ANY PC GAME as well. Ever wonder why MS said "any VR headset" when they talk about VR on Scorpio? I know it's purely speculation, but based on some of this news coming out the theory is plausable.
Great! A massive load of new $#!+ for farming, how appropriate!
Same fertilizer, different stink.
Then you're missing the point, De Beers. There will always be two viable consoles going forwards. Right now XB1 will be budget and Scorpio will be premium. When Scorpio becomes budget and a new console comes out, XB1 will be discontinued. Essentially, current gen consoles will remain relevant for as long as a usual generation lasts, but consumers will have options.
Reminds me of how some cars come both normally aspirated or turbo charged, to a degree, because the sa...
I agree with you Naruga, because it's not a return to it's roots any more than RE4 was. Neither takes into consideration what made the originals great, and both will be failures of a RE game.
That said, anyone can have an opinion. The people who thought Saint's Row is better with super heroes in it can hold their opinions just like the people who are into the direction that RE continues to take(from 4 up), but at the end of the day, neither Saint's Row or...
It's like Terraria and No Man's Sky squished together, and it's already better than both.
This.^
This game isn't Resident Evil, and most of VR is a tech demo. That's killing two birds with one stone!
