If you did the research, yeahright, you'd see that MS had lower sales compared to the 360 and PS3 in their 38th month, but outsold the XB1 YoY. PS4 didn't sell better than last year, which means the only console this month with YoY growth is XB1. You make it sound like they can't have a better month than last year but still have people waiting for Scorpio.
Also, the Scorpio was announced in May of last year, along with the XB1S which people also waited for, so...
If you'd bothered to read my post instead of just go full retard like all of your Pony friends around here, you'd see that I said Scorpio is 4 times the power of XB1. Seriously, someoone actually agreed with you too? Find a quote where I ever said Scorpio is four times the power of the Pro... I'm waiting.
XB1 is 1.3TF. 1.3 x 4 = 5.2TF. Since Scorpio is 6TF which means it has 4.5 times the power of XB1.
I agree with almost everything you said, Darxyde. Well put together post!
I'm not surprised Sparta, you and your friends don't seem to understand a lot of obvious statements. That's okay, your misunderstanding doesn't change the meaning behind what I wrote, just my understanding of your ability to reason.
It's literally just facts, Sparta.
360 was outsold by PS3 by the 38th month too.
MS had the only console in January with YoY growth (aka. positive momentum).
Some people are waiting for Scorpio.
I'll tell you what's not facts:
Suggesting that Scorpio's announcement is not contributing at all to the decline in Xbox One sales.
Suggesting that Scorpio hasn't been announced yet.
Suggesting that there&...
Xbox One launched at $500 too, and to worse reception than PS3.
360 was also behind PS3 on a month by month sales basis too.
Xbox One is in a good position though because even with some people waiting for Scorpio to buy an Xbox, Xbox One was still the only console in January 2017 to grow over January 2016 sales. Xbox has good momentum, and it's going to get even better come this Holiday.
Maybe GT will go back to it's roots, so you can simulate driving on an oval with your analog sticks rubber-banded together! GT: Port is already halfway to it's roots anyways, at least judging by the graphics and AI, so anythings' possible.
Ugh, Dishonored. What a horrible franchise.
MS still isn't convinced of VR being more than a fad because there's no compelling software.
They have four times the power of XB1 in Scorpio (not double).
MS is targetting native 4K.
How can we assume that Scorpio is built for VR when this information alone contradicts the notion?
I agree with the fact that the Pro is an accessory for PSVR though. I asserted this when it debuted with a second GPU and not much else. Sure it can...
Wait, DX9? Why would anybody still support DX9? DX12 would be able to run on any DX because of its' Feature Level detection.
Anyways, glad to hear Serious Sam is coming back. Seriously.
According to the developers, it was made for UWP. Xbox one got it only because XB1 supports UWP, but it is really an XB1 game now that I can play it on one. Lots of arcade titles on consoles remind me of mobile games, and mobile games have actually been filtering through the arcades for years now. I don't think it's going to stop any time soon.
75 million copies sold... SEVENTY FIVE MILLION!!! One game sells better than most frnchises in their lifetimes? I don't have the words to express how ridiculous that is.
Dragon, 40% of the 3 billion MS spent in R&D on the XB1 went into the production of Vega, and the XB1's GPU was modified in such a way as to function like an underpowered Vega processor. Just like XB360 introduced unified shaders before PC GPU's had them XB1 had full DX12 well before Vega, which is the first full DX12 GPU for the PC.
Sully, I'm just a bit confused by your assertion that ES, Fallout, or The Witcher are not RPG's. Can you tell me what games are good RPG's in your opinion? What are games like the three I mentioned missing in terms of RPG elements?
Scorpio is an XB1 with more power, as Phil said, so what's your point? A mid gen console upgrade is new. Traditions are things that repeat themselves, understand?
Lol, Stogz. VR doesn't concern gamers? That's a new one!
First, I think VR is too immature right now, PSVR, Rift, Vive, Etc. all included, and even that new game for VR MS just announced looks no better than any other VR games so far.
Second, nobody knows how to program a good VR experience yet because it's unproven technology, but that may never happen just like it never happened with Kinect, Move, or Wii games.
Third, Sony habitually drops ...
Rigs, lol. The devs got canned after making it... it was that good.
History repeats itself, and the Eye Toy, PS2 HDD, PSP, Move PSP Go and Vita are throwing PSVR a welcome home party as we speak. Here we are, four months on, and what upcoming games look to be breaking the mold of tech demos and minigames? Only games worth mentioning are normal games with VR tacked onto them, like RE7, and even then it still feels gimmicky.
Sony is going to drop PSVR l...
Gamecube was hacked through its internet port as well. Maybe Nintendo should put security protocols into their internet connectivity?
IO's new IP revealed!!! /sarcasm.
