Using the word "deliberstrely" and ignorant in the same sentence... classic, EddieNX.
Stupid website. Like I want to click through 15 pages of ads to look at 15 pictures. Don't give them the clicks, people...
You're right, Aenea. This is an obvious statement from Pachter but he does contradict himself. Why say that very few games will support Scorpio at launch, yet say that all the (multiplat) games that support the Pro will support Scorpio? Can someone tell me how the Pro has had bad support since it launched? That's what Pachter alludes to and it's nonsense.
The mid-gen consoles will get plenty of support from new titles and patches, so the only thing we can&...
It's a little late to be trying to learn anything from the previous entries in the series, don't you think? That should have happened during the planning stages, not six months before release. Just sayin'.
You didn't answer my question, Demon. I may be opinionated, even called an Xbox fanboy by many around here, but I provide reasons for stating my beliefs even if they're based off of rumors. I also admit when I'm wrong, so again...
What evidence do you have to base your belief on?
Condiminas... talking about genitals... lol.
How would you even come to that conclusion when everything we know about XB1 and Scorpio contradicts what you're saying?
Who knows, maybe they have issues they simply can't fix? Maybe they pushed the engine too hard? Whatever the reason, I'm hopeful that Avalanche can redeem themselves with their next game by releasing it when it works right because JC 1&2 were a blast!
Yes, it is much different. XB360 games aren't made for XB1 OR Scorpio, but can go forwards with an investment into Scorpio just the same. Alternatively, any game made for XB1 before Scorpio was in development would not have been made for Scorpio either, but would also go forwards.
New game releases, however, are all going to be made to support both XB1 and Scorpio, perhaps with the exception of VR software. Existing games can also still take advantage of Scorpio thro...
But they just released a "Gold" edition, lol!
While gold doesn't tarnish Avlanche's reputation still does. I haven't picked the game up yet because of all the issues it's been having, and it looks like I may never play JC3 now because they won't fix anything.
There is no remaster because they didn't change the code, and the screenshot in the article is obviously higher than 480p since there's no jaggies, which means that is likely to be a screenshot of it running on XB1 with a 1080p frame buffer. I thought it would be obvious that the re-release looked like an original Xbox game with better resolution... like the screenshot does.
Colin Mc Crae rally > Dirt.
By being more "professional" Dirt would technically be returning to its roots(CMC Rally). We need a good serious rally racer like Colin or Rallisport Challenge to return, IMO.
Which will hold its value better over time, the Switch system or the box it ships in? Stay tuned to find out!
It is good to hear. Bioware has a lot of new talent to account for, but it's not always a bad thing to introduce a fresh set of skills to a veteran team of devs. Hopefully this journalists opinion matches up with my expectations of Andromeda but as you said, you never know.
What are you talking about? There's a screenshot right at the top of the article.
I would have to assume, at least judging by the picture, that the game is running at 1080p. MS is still not calling it a remaster though, and Major Nelson even said that it's still the original code but it looks better because it's running on an XB1.
@ Aenea
I don't think that they will because it's not JUST the smaller games. UWP is going to be pivotal in making one code that works on XB1, Scorpio, and PC too. Seems rather obvious to me that AAA's will also benefit.
Yes, it's a joke!
working from home + making tons of money + nudity = web cam
😉
Uh-huh. It says, "...still possible..." in the headline.
Did you know the game is a trilogy? /sarcasm
The doors aren't closed, but the ME:Relays have all been destroyed. 😉
