So I take it you wont be picking up Dark Souls?
Perhaps you misspoke. I love the loneliness of Demons's Souls, but Oblivion just felt empty...there is a difference.
He has good tastes. Demons Souls is easily one of the best this generation for alot of reasons.
Dark Souls is my most anticipated game of the year (and yes, Ive seen the Skyrim trailer).
As for the new save system, I would be SHOCKED if somehow this made the game easier. I would venture to say that these save points are probably in a place that would actually frustrate you that they are there. AND, I also doubt they are anywhere near any boss.
A great game no doubt, but I don't understand how he gets off with the whole "innovation" thing. At its core, the game is almost a point and click adventure with more interactive control.
Great game though...
There has to be some sort of "save" point in an open world game.
But consistent with how FromSoftware has spoken of this game, I HIGHLY doubt that these beacons of fire will be anywhere close to a boss fight.
And for the above dude thinking there will be an easy mode...I certainly hope not, and I doubt From would put one in there.
They have publically said they are trying to make as difficult game as they can make yet stil...
Did you play Demons Souls?
Its mostly ambient music with some great music for boss fights.
That wolf and the pic with the knight looking into the rubbled house look amazing.
This is easily my most anticipated game of the year. Yes even after the Skyrim trailer.
Bioware has yet to make a game this generation that I haven't enjoyed playing. Sure there are some "hardcore(y) things that they took out, but hey Bioware games this generation haven't really been hardcore.
Im looking forward to Tuesday...I've had this baby pre-ordered since Jan.
That being said, does anybody think this game (and even Skyrim) just looks cute...like "Oh look, our baby is a hero' compared to the new Dark Souls s...
Not going to lie, after just seeing the screenshots of Dark Souls...this game just looks cute.
Nonetheless, I have this pre-ordered and its going to be alot of fun to play.
Neir is probably the most misunderstood title of the generation.
Well, the PC community has a reason to be ticked off I think, but for the console players, most of these changes are for the better.
It does seem a little "dumbed down" from DAO but so was Me2 from Me. It worked out. Hopefully this will too.
Bioware's recent games have just been plain fun...good story...decent graphics....fun gameplay....Nothing truly amazing about them other than it comes together in an enjoyable experience.
...
Im going for the Rouge myself.
Finish Dark Souls please, then you can do whatever you.
Kthnkbai
Dragon Age 2 for me...
"It depends" is the only honest answer to that question.
I agree with you. For all they hype about a "mature" story line, it ended up being more like a dark comic book.
I finished it. I finish all my games.
It was a solid game, don't get me wrong, but it was not the ZOMG greatest game ever.
Looking forward to Tuesday!
Visuals weren't that bad.
But yeah, glad I picked it up...but I was happy to put it down by the end.
There are some good ones out there, but Japan is not quite getting what captures Western gamers.
Valkeria Chronicles and Demons's Souls are by far the best this generation (Demon's Souls being my favorite game of the decade). Neir was crazy and worth it at 15 bucks. Resonance of Fate had a great battle system.
Western Gamers as a whole do not do cutesy anime thing. That coupled with the bland stories and usual bland combat...its just not enough...
I'll be honest...zombies don't do it for me.
What's to disagree with in my post?
