Again you are playing down Nintendo by not weighing all the facts. Sony and Nintendo have roughly the same amount of well recieved 1st party developers in charge of big game series. It isn't just Retro, they have HAL (Smash Bro's, Kirby, Earthbound etc), Monolith (Xenosaga, Baiten Kaitos), Intelligent Systems (Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Paper Mario), Game Freak (Pokemon) and that's not including the multiple Nintendo divisions that themselves make games like Mario and Zelda etc. ...

That's just not true at all. Nintendo helped BUILD the gaming empire. All their machines were for the core market up until the Wii (the Gamecube is debatable, it did have some damn good games). In the NES days EVERYONE was working with sprite graphics on game consoles, their MODE 7 chipset on the SNES was the bomnb, and they moved up to polygonal 3D in the same generation as everyone else did. Also if it wasn't for Nintendo turning Sony down on a joint games machine, Sony's gaming...

I'm not going to disagree with you. You are bang on about how the public acts sometimes. But at the same time isn't the opinion and general consensus of the largest portion of the public that pays attention to E3 the decider?

You don't lose a public opinion poll and strut into the presidents office and demand his seat because you think you are better despite what the majority of the public voted.

Just sayin..

I honestly don't think there will be an Uncharted 4, they tied up the third game rather nicely. If Naughty Dog do buck their trend i will be rather surprised.

If the previous two top selling series that they have made are anything to go by they will pass Uncharted on to some other studio and concentrate on that new game of theirs, that will no doubt end up a trilogy.

Perhaps the studio that did the Vita Uncharted will take the helm for any following game...

Why do people care so much about specs? It isn't specs that let you create a good game, a fun game, an interesting game. All specs generally do is allow better graphics, higher resolutions, more frames per second or faster load times. It has been proven many times over that you dont need all that to make a great and well recieved game. And since consoles will never be at the forefront graphics wise, I don't see the point in getting worked up about it. Besides all that, all of the new ...

Everyone knows Naughty Dog does three main games, then a spin-off racing game, then ditches the franchise. They did it with Crash, they did it with Jak & Daxter, and next up is Uncharted.

Expect Uncharted X : Tag Team Racing to be due sometime late 2013 :P

Ahh I remember a fair few of those box arts, Rick Dangerous, Hostages and Barbarian were awesome games. I miss my Amiga ;_;

I think what disturbs me more is the number of people playing a story and narrative driven game that didn't read all the entry's in their codex or the planet logs, or possibly haven't played the first game. This "news" is only being discovered now?

There's a fair few anomalies in Mass Effect 1 that dont get explained as mentioned by a poster above, but yes the synthetic vs organic stuff has been referenced throughout the series, and these races that...

I agree!! It won't be called Orbis! You just have to look at the Vita, it's codename was Vita and it didn't end up....oh wait

Granted by the time it comes out the PC will have moved up to the next set of graphics cards, but that tech they mentioned would still be reasonably new. Meaning in a console, that would make the system excessively expensive again. Sony still haven't learned their lesson. Launching systems at high prices the average consumers can't afford to spend on a whim (especially in this day and age) is not doing them any favors :/

Kinda reminds me of the Black Edition and the White Edition of Assassins Creed 2. One more expensive than the other, one had slightly more DLC than the other, but both had different collectable contents. Different figures etc.

Well said!! There's old games that people re-play and buy in classic compilations not because they have good graphics, but because they have great gameplay which still stands to this day!

If you want bleeding edge graphics you buy or play on a PC as a console will never be as powerful as the computers used to make and design the games. Consoles with high end tech would just be too expensive for the generic consumer. Every time a company releases a tech heavy console at t...

Another great series getting the HD collection treatment if this is true. Good to see! Now all that is left on my list is a Kingdom Hearts HD Collection to be announced and it will make my year!

In New Zealand a Wifi only Vita is $449 for just the console and the 3G version is $549.

That's $377 and $461 respectively if you convert it to US currency at the current exchange rate. For JUST the console, NO memory card, NO games. JUST the unit itself. I don't know about you, but that is a GIANT rip-off and i for one will not buy one till it comes down in price. And it will in the not too distant future. It's not worth importing for the current games it has so ...

I'm with you on that! After the Dreamcast met it's end i picked up a Gamecube. With the directors cut versions of Dreamcast games and Sega's support for each of it's consoles Nintendo was the way to go for quite a while. Tho now i am a multi-platform kinda guy as there are great games on all consoles. I don't let being a fan or supporter of a single company tarnish my views on great games just because they are made on some other console like a fair few fans do. :)

I played one at the New Zealand pre-launch event i was invited to, where they had units with all the launch games available. And to be 100% honest, i did not see what all the fuss was about.

I own a PS2, PS3 and a PSP. And i also own a Gamecube, Wii and a DS/3DS. I still have my old Sega systems too and an Xbox. I like to think that way i can get the best of all worlds and i wont become a "fanboy" for any particular company, and like most people "should" ...

Weren't the speech and model files for the new character this DLC introduces ripped from the demo a while back? If it isn't content removed from the main game then why we're the files hidden in the demo?

One of the best game series story and character wise. Loved all the games, even the two Blood Omen ones that kinda stuck out after the release of Soul Reaver 1 & 2. Pity that the voice actor who played the Elder God died, he had an epic voice ;_;

It's available at most New Zealand, Australian and European retailers. Game, EBGames, Mighty Ape, Amazon, JB Hifi to name a few. There is no Collectors Edition announced for America yet, and with each passing week getting closer to release it's looking less and less likely. Apparently the Sonic franchise sells better in the PAL territories, hence all the Collectors Editions of the past Sonic games we have received that America hasn't. Sorry guys, I feel for you, but like you kindl...
