While I agree that they should be able to do with the story as they will. That doesn't mean people have to like it. And when someone who has payed out for any product gets dissapointed, they complain. And if fans that pay you money complain, you should listen, or you won't last very long without their continued support.

They are fully within their artistic and basic human rights to do what they want with their product, they could have stood their ground and not change...

I'm totally with you on this one, first Silent Hill, then this. I'm not supporting a "collection" that's missing a game. Especially when we know they can easily fit 3 PS2 remasterd on the one disc as evidenced by other HD Collections.

Plus i loved the board game on Budokai 2, going around unlocking all the capsules etc. If we keep shelling out for half assed collections companies will thinks its all good to stiff us on content. So I'm voting with my ...

They will be waiting awhile, people can daydream all they want but "next-gen" consoles are gunna do what current PC's can do. The console is not going to be magically more powerful than the PC's they create the games on. People who seem to think consoles are gunna show graphics or tech better or even the same as current PC's are delusional and blinded by the PR their chosen console company releases. Plain and simple >.<

Also they HAVEN'T announ...

Only good horrible ending? I thought the refusal ending was the best, apart from the horrible part where you lose and die and stuff. I spose each has their own opinions but I couldn't bring myself to destroy the Geth or EDI, nor could I make a choice that alters every being I'm the Milky Way against their will. Nor would I become what I've been fighting the whole series. Refusal seemed a fitting end for my Shepard.

Tho to be honest of love to see the refusal endi...

And you didn't buy it when it came out in English territories if you wanted it that bad because......?

For me personally altho I love the originals I'm not gunna rush out and buy a cheap cash grab like this. Sure they may have given it an HD coat of paint. But why fork out for a "collection" that's missing one of the games in the series when we know damn well from many other collections that they can fit 3 games on a disc. It's just cutting corners and lazy, I personally loved 2 and it's board game.

Then there's the whole online thing, there's...

Not paying for an HD "collection" that's missing a game, nor would I pay the same price as the many other HD collections that do have 3 games on the disc. It just reeks of cheap money making cash grab by missing a game out

Missing 2...so not a collection really, regardless of how little 2 added. Also why are they using the PS2 version rather than the upgraded and superior Gamecube version?

HD Collections like Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank both had 3 games, so did Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider, Sly even had extras on top of its 3 games. Missing out 2 seems to be a money saving cheap move. Guess I'm just dissapointed cause I remember playing that DBZ board game for hours to get all...

Yup, promotional material, change disc artwork for both the PS1 and PC release and some were even used during the install for the PC version. I especially like the one with Vincent on the roof with all the lightning and storm going on in the background. Very cool.

Already got the Saturn and Dreamcast versions respectively. And knowing the bugs ands issues with the DLC version of Marvel vs Capcom 2, I think I'll pass on this one. Will just be a quick cash grab with no real attention to fixing the games for widescreen tvs etc again.

That's a load of crap, Final Fantasy VII had a PC release a year after the console release without Sony being involved. And there's a Steam release incoming, after it being in the registry for ages. I doubt Sony has anything to do with that either.

What's more of a mystery is how these rumors and misinformation start. :/

If XIV wasn't outsourced then why did it have character/creature name errors which resulted from mistranslation from Chinese to Japanese. The Japanese Final Fantasy Dec team wouldn't call a Chocobo a "horse bird".

I'm pretty sure they admitted that they outsourced to China for help with the game in one interview. Then again this was all reported on Sankaku Complex, so it may have been them making a mountain out of a molehill.

Final Fantasy 7 wasn't a PS1 exclusive....well it may have been to start with if you count 9 months as exclusive. It was released on PC in 1998.

They should really label some of the characters as "guest" characters like Smash Bros did with Snake and Sonic. Because Big Daddy is in no way a "Playstation All-Star", cool character, great addition, but considering Bioshock was on Xbox and PC for quite awhile before the PS3 version finally showed up. It seem...

A resounding yes, most people have forgotten the point of gaming and playing games. It's for fun, for enjoyment, for a good time. The graphics of a game don't matter, the power of the system doesn't matter, the resolution doesn't matter. The sooner people, consumers and developers remember this the better.

Final Fantasy 8 was rubbish, hated the story, characters and magic system, and 10 was way over hyped. I prefer the SNES ones, 4 and 6 were badass. I liked 9 because it was paying homage to the old games and had a great story.

It's a series that's changed so much and moved quite far from its roots and what people loved about it in general. A lot of series have done that actually. Then again like what's been said already, rating games and saying what is bad or good...

Can't afford to? How so? It's been proven time and again with financial reports and analysts write ups that Nintendo has more money in the bank than both Sony and Microsofts game studios. $10.5 billion to be exact, which is enough to take a $257 million dollar loss for the next 40 years and still be in the black. Also counting the $6 billion they reportedly have on site and in investments etc, they have plenty to spare. They also have recently had their first loss in 30 years as of la...

I don't understand how you are getting disagrees my friend. Both points you made are fact backed up by financial analysts and yearly reports. You didn't even slide a personal opinion in there or anything. Disagrees for facts that are proven and true is like disagreeing that the world is round >.<

@InTheLab

They didn't invent it, but it's attributed to them more often that not because the N64 was the first widespread and mainstream home console to use it on their standard controllers.

It is true that many people like Atari for example had analog sticks way before that, and so did arcades like Space Harrier etc. Even Sega had one on their Nights into Dreams controller on the Saturn from memory. But the N64 was the first widespread home console ...

Wow seriously, it always amazes me that people that post in forums and happen to be fans of gaming know more about the gaming world, have more insider info, and even know more about the future of the medium and what to watch out for than industry insiders, game developers and people that have close ties to studios. /s

Rendundant arguing, he has an opinion, as do all of you. It may differ to what you think or want to hear, but in the end, the opinion of a game developer in the...

I hate to point out the obvious that all the people that swear by consoles seem to forget. All the console games are made using a PC. Just because the game isn't released on the PC doesn't mean it can't run them. It made them, of course it can run them.

Not only that, but the fact that most if not all games are scaled down for console release after the final product is built. Dev's generally build the game to look as nice as it can using the kits they have an...
