Phantasy Star Online, Skies of Arcadia, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue I&II, Grandia II, Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventure, Marvel vs Capcom I&II, Chu Chu Rocket, Resident Evil : Code Veronica..even the Dreamcast version of Legacy of Kain : Soul Reaver. So many great games. I do pull it out every now and then to bask in it's greatness.
Probably the fact that has been proven and reported on time and again each financial year that Nintendo has more money in the bank, and in investments, properties and equipment than both Sony's game division and Microsoft's game division.
That they could take a $257 million loss until 2052 last fiscal count and still be in the black. The fact they also have a lot of valuable intellectual property that if they got anywhere near trouble they could sell off to provide so...
@DigitalSmoke
I think you will find there are some, people just generally forget about them until they get toned down console releases. Like Witcher and Witcher 2 for example, don't even try to pretend the 360 version looked as good as the PC version on max settings. Those games were a real labor of love, and it shows. Cyberpunk will be no different.
Overall you are correct tho, most dev's these days just release quick console ports to the PC without the abili...
Silly me, I didn't realize that consoles could "push" out better looking games and graphics than the machines they were MADE on. Think about that for a second. I love my consoles, and the unique games they offer, don't get me wrong, but consoles have dated CPU's and GPU's made for cheap general consumer purchase. The PC's that are used to create these games are far and above what the consoles themselves can ever hope to "push" out. It's not opinion,...
But they didn't use the correct release to their timezone, that was the issue. If they planned on only having said game available from an American date then they should have organized the release date in other countries to coincide with that date if the game was going to be unavailable to play otherwise. How hard is it to change an unlock date back one or forward one day based on country of release, especially when Steam is separated into different country stores to begin with.

You said "we". "I" is used to show your personal preference.
Insert more coins to continue.
You will be lucky if the next gen consoles can even run it looking like that. That, much like quite a few early demos, was probably running on a pretty high spec rig, the one used for creating the game.
Your username is clearly wrong, as you obviously don't love games at all. Your too busy trolling and hating on them.
@SuperShyGuy
Most sensible people believe that one actually. If your expecting a huge leap you will be disappointed. Your certainly not gunna get a modern powerhouse for $400-$500 that's for sure. This console generation won't be the leap that the last ones have been.
Because there clearly isn't any other gaming companies that have consoles on the market other than Sony and Microsoft...... >.<
I have had issues like this before with games that unlock on Steam or digitally. The USA seems to forget that there are quite a few countries that are ahead of them as far as days and timezones go. So the games always seem to unlock on the American version of the date rather than the actual proper date for that country.
We seem to get a bad deal here in NZ and Australia, late releases and when we do get them early, like this one, with the whole digital crap it won't let ...
Man its amazing how many people haven't played the first game, Legacy of Kain. And seem to think that it all began with Soul Reaver.
Riiight..do you remember the original Playstation? Or even the Playstation 2? Neither of those home consoles were better than any of the competitors systems that launched alongside them. They were always the underdog until the PS3.
Brilliant systems, brilliant games, but don't go trying to say they always have cutting edge tech or powerful hardware. Until PS3 they lacked both of those things. By console standards anyway. No console has cutting edge hardware, they are all ...
I can't believe people still believe these doom articles. It's already well established and proven fact regardless of their recent losses that they have more money in the bank than both Microsoft and Sony's game divisions. And both of those companies make far more than a $21 loss on each system. It's making a mountian out of a mole hill, Nintendo isn't going anywhere. And considering their last year report by outside financial companies said they could take a loss of far m...
Probably get hate for this, but I never liked VIII. It had that whole, I dunno, more realistic deal to it at the time. It was a departure from the anime'ish and cartoony norm that the series had had up to that point. Didn't personally like the story either, or having to "draw" magic and it being limited to how many draw points you had found.
IX did a backflip and went back to the roots of the series and I loved it for that. But my favorites are probably the ...
I think this is probably another case of "oh this is a very Japanese game, we won't need to secure many copies as not many people will be interested"...boy were they wrong. People have been dying for a game like this for some time.
I don't recall being literal when I said half. But if it makes you feel better, yes you can count >.<
@Mounce
There is no need to jump on the defensive, i was just explaining that those two games aren't exclusive to the Playstation. I was also just stating the differences, i prefer the final "One-winged Angel" music from the PSX myself too >.<
Also on your last comment it would be more accurate to say it showcased what CD-Rom tech could do (even tho it took 3 of them), because the N64 was actually superior tech wise in almost every other aspect. T...
Considering half the ones in Playstation All-Stars aren't owned by Sony or even Playstation exclusive, i would guess the X-Box one could have just as many characters if they pulled a Sony and borrowed them from other studios.
I would love to support this kind of thing, old games running in fancy emulated environments on modern consoles. Some of my favorite games I go back to time and again are old classics like these. But at this price I won't be an adopter that's for sure. There have been way to many reasonably priced classic collections from other companies to even consider this. Even Capcom themselves made more affordable collections in the past on the PS2 and PSP. They will find more people will stick ...
