I want a high-end model that costs $600 and can convert all games to 4K or 8K in 2021. Am willing to pay another $600 for a mid-gen upgrade 3-4 years down the line to play the same games better and at even higher resolution / fps / details. As long as I don't have to pay for a $2500 PC to get ultra graphics every 7 years, I'm willing to pay half of that in two bits to get 7 years of generation worth of high-spec gaming and to access the same ecosystem.
First ever MMO I played. Was a magical experience. Better than WoW in many ways.

Yeah, same here. Very specific about games nowadays. I can't seem to get the same kick out of anything as I did 10 or 20 years ago. I miss that feeling of an instant classic. I think the last time I was blown away was The Last of Us, and Dark Souls, before that I don't even remember... Maybe The Shadow of the Colossus or something like that. 90s was great.
Played all of them in Japanese, except 8 in English, and haven't played 6 at all. Thought probably 4 and 5 were the best so far, 8 was really good, too. Haven't finished 11, but have 140 hours clocked in, and it is up there with the better ones. The story in 11 is on part with 4 and 5, which makes it one of the best. Music is midi, but full of personality and fun to listen. I suspect the Western release will get orchestral soundtrack, voices and some small extras here and there. Would...
This is common knowledge guys. Who are you? Some people who buy games without understanding the industry? Gamers who know about tech, and developers and DF and the likes have said that these jaguar CPUs are not built for complex physics, or AI or 60fps. It's not like I invent my opinion out of thin air. I try and say what the experts say, because I am not one. And they say only games on consoles this gen with simple AI, simple rendering methods, or limited scope, limited details/shadows a...
These consoles are not built for 60fps! It is a CPU-bound thing to get to 60fps, not GPU. They don't have the bandwidth nor the technology in their CPUs to have 60fps on games, not unless they lower resolution to 720p or 900p, or it is a very limited game. These are the very basics, why can't you guys get this right, it's not hard.
I believe the person who is developing this is from South Korea. Regardless, I've lived in the US, China, Japan and Europe, and do not view games as products of nationals of a certain country. Instead, I aim to objectively look at them from a pure gameplay, art, creative direction and production values perspectives. I've gamed and followed the industry and been part of it for more than 30 years, so I just feel that this will be a low-scored game, and while at it very tedious, empty an...
This looks very tedious. Art direction is incredibly mediocre as well.
Actually, this card is advertised more towards the machine learning and AI purposes on top of the typical graphic-heavy applications for corporate use. Crytopmining is not a huge part of it.
They also make RPGs, Action Adventures, Mech games and sports games. Miyazaki and From Software is cooking up something interesting and Bandai Namco publish their games every now and then, perhaps one of their projects is actually this?
Hitman studios could do a great espionage type of a Bond game next. An IP like that would probably save IO Interactive financially, too.
Yeah, I agree! I have two sets of eyes here and both agreed that frame-pacing and fps was all over the place. It is a beta, but not a highly optimized one and they have probably a few months between this build and release, so this game will be releasing in a highly unstable state. Tried both resolution and frame-rate modes on PS4 Pro, and they both felt weird, more like alpha state. HDR implementation was off as well.
The game itself (content, art, gameplay, production valu...
Could this be Tenchu? Ninjas and shadows are one and the same. I think the last Vita game was named Tenchu: Shadow Assassin as well.
You guys in the US are so behind in terms of Internet, although you invented it. I can't understand why you are not revolting and up in arms to change that. You guys still have limits on your data? What is this, 1990s? Change the system, don't let the system change your behaviour.
Oh really? Switch and Shield says hi. Plus, now that Switch is popular, more hybrid machines will follow. Digital games on traditional platforms are taking more and more market share. I'd say the next pure home console generation is the last disc-drive gen.
Oh. My. God. A sex scene!? This is unheard of the world of entertainment. No book, no song, no movie, or at least no game has never...ever done this!
Instead of an UHD-Drive, they should have put in a 512GB SSD where installed games would load, and another 2TB HDD where you can store them, and then limit the size of the games to 170GT (who plays more than three games at the same time actively anyway.) This would have solved a lot of problems. I hope PS5 at least will have Nvme.
The first thing I did for my PS4 Pro was to install a samsung 850 Pro 512gt. Got around 15 games installed, seven AAA and rest medium or small s...
Switch is brilliant! Zelda and Mario Kart were great. Next up is Mario Odyssey and Megaten V.
Deus Ex is very good! One of the better experiences in 2017.
