What are you on about? Sony owns the IP, not FromSoftware. They have zero say in what is done with Bloodborne.

Wrong.

Copy paste from 5 seconds of googling:

"As of early 2026, the latest flagship mobile phone launched by Sony is the Xperia 1 VII, announced on May 13, 2025. It features the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, advanced AI camera tools ("AI Camerawork"), a 6.5-inch 4K OLED screen, and maintains the 3.5mm audio jack. ...

That is a very solid operating profit. It's not net, obviously, but still a very healthy amount of cash you make after cost of debt and taxes (+ other expenses), and can invest into R&D and future endeavours. And give back to your shareholders or buy back shares.

Yeah, but the game is extremely childish. My wife could not handle it due to that, she said the dialogue is like watching anime aimed for 7-year olds and it just keeps repeating itself and the typical tropes. Compared to XC1, Xenosaga and Xenogears, the writing and dialogue quality of XC2 is the absolute lowest of the series. It's like watching a children's show which is not aimed at anyone, because everyone has massive breasts and they keep bouncing up and down. Plus it didn't fi...

I thought it was pretty, but mediocre in its storytelling, plot, gameplay and music. I liked the original game much, much more. No fluff, just pure awesome gameplay and a fast-paced story, and a better gameplay loop and system, and the music was better as well, not to mention the overall atmosphere.

It's not easy to do something like that, because Driveclub is the equivalent of on-the-rails 3rd person shooter whereas Forza Horizon is the expanded full-on open world adventure action game. The fidelity focus is very different.

Elden Ring kept me hooked for around 250 hours, whereas with Clair Obscur, well, I just can't move forward with the game. The exploration in the game is so lacking, just a tunnel after another to the next location or awkward jumping and always the same type of a battle waiting behind the corner. Reminds me of FFXIII, which is the least favourite game in the series for me and I played all of them.

I think Clair Obscur is good, but not great. For me personally, Elden Ring...

Code Veronica on Dreamcast was absolutely AWESOME.

Yeah, but the gaving division is still 8.5% of their global revenue, and they just made 30% YoY topline growth per quarter. A 11.35 billion business is absolutely massive, and this will continue to increase. That means there's 11.35bn reasons why they won't stop the gaming business, nor lose their focus on it. It's also their pivot if things do not go as well in the AI race. By end of 2026, they have DOUBLED the gaming division business in 5 years.

FY 2025 $11....

Why do you need to pay 1000 bucks for an Nvidia GPU? You can find one that is faster than the PS5 Pro at 400 bucks, RTX 5060 ti 16GB, and it has better upscaling, more VRAM, multiframe generation and RT.

They could also finish The Witcher 4, and dedicate a polish/finalizing team for the last 12 months to it, while gaining an extra year towards the 5th game, and do the same for the 6th.

Because they are trying too hard.

(Oops double comment, Opera and N4G doesn't work very well nowadays!)

Yeah, but they’ll be selling those units at a profit going forward. Plus, they’re outsourcing much of the R&D and sharing marketing costs with their partners — it’s a smart business move. The problem is, they’re alienating their core fanbase and dismantling their only true gaming brand, at least until it’s fully rebranded or relaunched.

Awesome! Thanks for the input. I think I'll go with Yotei once it is on PC, still got Horizon 2 to finish.

This doesn’t even make sense for the brand. Xbox = a box. Now the latest release is a PC handheld — not a box you put next to your TV. If anything is a “box,” how does that branding even work? It’s absurd.

They should have done a full rebrand and positioned this as a software initiative. The next Xbox won’t even be a traditional box — it’s basically a ROG PC. Clear, consistent branding is fundamental, and they’re doing the exact opposite, confusing both hardware and softwar...

Genuine question: Should I start from Yotei if I did not play the original? Or should I just do the original? Which one is genuinely a better game, if you judge them on their own, not related to each other?

I'm not going to have the time to play both, open-world games take 2-3 years to complete for me due to work and parenting duties.

Yeah I can't play my Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon on the Ally X today, so that's a no-go. Once they introduce Xbox emulation, and if I can rip my game CDs/DVDs that I have and play them via the emulation, that would be awesome. I've been holding on to those copies for 10+ years for this moment lol Not going to buy a Series X for those two games only... (already got the PS5 and PS3 for the full PS library and Switch, 3DS, Vita, and GameBoy Advance for legacy stuff. And a gaming PC...
