What is he babbling about? There are more games than ever, more publishers and developers than ever, and more console makers than ever, and everyone is competing for the very little time gamers nowadays have. Average gamers are somewhere around 34 - 38 years old working people and these are the so called busy years both at work and home, but at the same time these guys have most money to buy games.
You are right they were, but the end results weren't that different in the end. Some games worked better on 360 some on PS3. Sure, the underlying architecture of the CPU and the amount of memory and way the GPUs were different are greater differences than in the next generation, but the point is that the end results weren't that different. What I'm saying that this time they will be even more similar than ever before.
Bear in mind this is based on leaks and une...
Having seen how much a PS3, PS4 and PS4 Pro has improved when an SSD drive has been installed as the main drive, I think this is a no-brainer.
Now keep in mind I'm not a tech-head but according to yesterday's (May 8th) leak, this would be 24GB, 3.2ghz Ryzen 3xx0 8/16 machine with 1.8ghz Navi at around 13Tflops which translates to around 3x the raw power of PS4 Pro GPU with higher clocks + much better CPU with higher clocks + faster drive and 3x the memory which is ...
Exactly! I think it is actually much harder to create that 30 second loop than a game with elements that are , based on research, liked by everyone (= accessible action with light rpg elements to keep people on the hook.) Halo 1 was exceptional because the development team perfected the loop of that generation. I think Dark Souls is the next game that did it again after that in another genre. So it is no wonder there are six Soulsborne games done with the same system, just as there are multip...
I’m going to see what Sony has in store for PS5, and if PS1/2 games are not BC compatible, I’ll buy a phat 60gb PS3 and buy classics.
Consoles are locked behind their parts, just as are PCs. Console assemblers and designers get their share, just like a PC is locked behind AMD / Intel CPUs and AMD/Nvidia/Intel GPUs, multiple memory makers etc. Those launchers are ran by also operating systems that cost money, typically around a hundred bucks. Nothing is free mate!
Will buy this day one!
I don't think Star Citizen is actually a scam as is, but a miserably failed project. CR has no skills in project management, and cannot seem to trust anyone else but himself. Essentially he is the one who is the blockage to finish the game. His past business endeavours suggest he cannot seem to complete anything. He got lucky once or twice in the 90s, and after that it's been selling to execs in hollywood and to masses to fund his dreams he clearly has not the skills to manage to make...
I'd put Larian studios over CD Projekt Red. Witcher 3 was horrible from RPG perspective (story, inventory system, characters, pacing, it did nothing to take the genre further to new heights, except an open world which was monotonous and largely unrelated to the main story.) Larian on the other hand pushes the genre further with each Original Sin game (multiple dialogue options, aoe effects that truly matter, complex and funny story / dialogue, open-ended gameplay etc.)

I'm playing it everyday and it works just fine!
They are going to have a boot disk in it, not a full-fledged 1tb SSD that is as fast as they say. It itself would cost $300. They’ll just have an SSHD on top of it. Won’t be more than $499, unless they have a Pro version coming together. One could be $399 and the other $599, but it’s hard to believe. I suspect $499, it would make sense if they take $100-150 hit per unit.
The trailer shows only new stuff and it makes it seem it is some sort of extension to towards the end of the story. Hmm...
It's the best time! You can get a PS4 Pro that is extremely quiet and relatively powerful for 399€ or even less if you do a bit of deal hunting. It's also reliable. Plus, you've got plenty of exclusives + 3rd party games that run relatively well. PS5 will most likely need one or two iterations (and I do not mean slim and pro, but new manufactured models that come out incrementally, probably 2 new ones per year) to achieve the right balance. While I do love new console launches, I&...
Sony gave MS the specs to match, and can do a last minute fine-tuning based on MS reveal at E3. Based on this, Sony could make a decision about launching in March 2020 with lower spec, or November 2020 with higher spec. I'm certain they have a two-scenario or even three-scenario set up based on what will be revealed by their competition as this is very basic business strategy. You see what your competition does and have plans to be better than them, and that is what this Sony reveal was a...
Brilliant! So PS5 for PS4/PS5 games, and then PS3 phat with an SSD for PS1/2/3 games. Then PSVR2 for VR and you are set to play all the games in PS family :)
It's time for Gamingbolt to do something different and write an interesting non-clickbait article!! From Software is not taking notes from you, luckily.
So we get the sweet revenge finally after years! I’m intriqued where Shenmue goes after that story-wise.
Looks better every time I see it! I know lot of people are waiting for this eagerly, but I'd still wish for just one more year extra development time to make it perfect. Maybe Shenmue IV will be funded even better with all the funds they get selling this!
78 would be a fantastic score! Games that are over 75 among both users and critics on metacritic are extremely good for people who enjoy that particular genre. Nier Replicant for example has a low score while being praised to bits by many RPG fans. Games do not need to be 85+ for fans to enjoy them. In fact, we might be living in a time where we get exceptionally good games in certain action genre (Bloodborne, Sekiro, DMC5, Resident Evil 2 R, God of War, Spiderman, Horizon etc.). Maybe the se...
So it's probably Tencent then that is trying the hostile takeover. He is a strategist and tries his best to let investors know that they should oppose a hostile takeover from a Chinese company.
