Don't click. Nintendo is incredibly profitable and loves cash and high ROI. Leave this blah blah as is.
People may disagree with you, but resolution is not an answer to everything in game design. I agree, the textures don't look anywhere near the standard of 4K, but the fps is much better.
I would like to play this at say locked 1080p or 4K at 60fps, but only with improved textures. I think the eventually remastered version for Switch's successor is the way I will go. Wife doesn't care about the fps, she just wants to play the game itself at whatever resolution a...
It is amazing how everyone else can see it but Square Enix Executives: The blockchain strategy is the wrong strategy!
Don't click! TotK is absolutely fantastic! It made me completely eat my own words, wife and I have been playing it from 4:30am this morning, eating chocolate cookies, drinking coffee and loving the game!
Hey I'm a relatively new PS5 owner here, but how does this new PS Plus system work? So if I go in at the Premium level for a month, it would mean I can play Horizon 2 and Ratchet & Clank just like that, right?
Indeed, if they can have DLSS Quality + FG at low resolutions and maybe even a 120hz screen, I would be very interested in one. They will have to do more than a tech upgrade though, Switch was revolutionary. Nintendo won't let go of it just like that either.
That is simply horrible! The game is one of the best games, if not the best game of last year. Play this! Forget the bugged and rigged system of review bombing, just buy it and support Matthias and his team. These guys are superb!! We need to fight this stuff as a community, because small indie devs are the ones who least deserve this type of mistreatment.
Exactly. 4090 should run this 150fps+
DLSS3 and FG finally made the 4K120 everything Epic incl. RT possible on 4090. Still, some stutters and frame-rate spikes here and there, but much less than before. Should have waited for 3 months and buy the game on discount, save myself the stuttery mess of RT implementation that I had to go through with it. Good game, though!
Yeah, this looks like Zelda Minecraft or maybe closer to Zelda Builders (as in Dragon Quest Builders). Maybe Breath of the Wild will keep it's iconic status, and this will have a cult hit Majora's Mask treatment. Time will tell. The latest trailer was pretty cool though, but let's see...
That's like saying "It's time for Spider-man to say goodbye to Spiderman for good."
Appreciate your thoughts, but I tend to say only things that I mean, and prefer to explain the reason and logic behind them.
I also really do not know who made the creative decision for Redfall to go with the current direction, but I genuinely wish that people (and their families) who were against it, do not have to suffer neither financially nor reputationally from it.
Looks like a 7/10 looter shooter. No matter what they say, this is not an Arkane game, it's a GaaS looter shooter that uses some parts of their DNA. Can't believe they went this route. This thing stinks like a money grab.
I'm sad to say this due to so many people pouring effort and energy on this, but I hope Redfall fails miserably and it sends a message to the company and team. They should go back to their strength and core which is a single-player exploration ...
Given the trajectory and what has happened in the past, I think you are right on the money. Sony's weapon is to lure people from PC to play games early, rather than the best possible way. And then they double dip with GOTY editions for PC users. The PS5 Exclusives often look incredibly good and play very seamlessly with the Dualsense, so there's always that. Not sure how Horizon works with Dualsense on PC, not too keen to use the cable to get haptic feedback like with Returnal.
Some of the animations, materials and effects look better compared to what a high-end PC can do with multiplatform games. I think CP2077 is close, but Burning Shores world looks more atmospheric albeit less filled. This all makes me think what can a 4090 do with Burning Shores in the inevitable GOTY PC edition.
Wow that is awesome! Super old-school vibes and would definitely want to mess with such a mode if Capcom would include it officially. Looks actually stunning like that! And shows the potential of this type of game. Controls would need to change from Tank to Dead Nation type shooting though!
I'm a bit torn between waiting for this to land on PC and going for the PS5 Horizon FW + Burning Shores route first...!
I'm not one of those master race guys, I just want to experience the games at their very best. I could not care what the platform is, if there was a PS5 Pro Superb and it cost me 2000 EUR, I would buy that over a PC. But there isn't so I have to buy this machine that is incredibly unoptimized and tune the settings, but still will ultimately end up with a better experience than on the consoles. And I have all the consoles anyway, so there's no argument of which "group" I ...
Yeah me neither. I have a PS5, but more interested in seeing what my 4090/5800X3D and X95K combo can do. 30fps is just not acceptable anymore, and in fact, 4K120 is the standard. I'm an adult in a solid job with an okay education I worked my ass off to get (nobody EVER gave me ANY money, I earned it all by myself, including paying my own education) here, so I will enjoy my 4K120 gaming.
Play it longer than 20hrs. I get it, you are a busy family man, you don't have 40-60hrs to get "into the zone", but some games just need it. Just like some book series' and tomes of the past. Heck, some albums take 5-6 listen throughs to get the jist of it (especially classic Jazz or Classical music albums). It's just as is.
Zelda TotK is incredible, there's no denying it. Personally, I find the sound design and music the most impressive aspect of ...
